POSTS STORIES REELS

What was supposed to be a chill birthday party, turned into my engagement party (!?!?!?). Insane. I have so much to say, but I don’t think words will ever be enough.

@adrian.read — The way that we met and the series of events that have taken place thereafter, have been very peculiar—these things don’t happen by accident. We went from meeting randomly on an island on the night of my birthday, to then being friends who made music together, to NOW being fiancées/engaged at my birthday party 2 years later. AHHHHH.

It’s been the most life-changing experience to get to know you. The person you are is someone who is loving, attentive, talented, empathetic, extremely mindful, intelligent, intuitive, introspective, ambitious, committed…I would write a song about it, but I already have lollllllll.

We’ve been through so much since we’ve met each other, and even more this past year+ that we’ve been together.
So many events have attempted to tear us apart *pulls out scroll*, but we’ve sustained our bond through it all. We’ve continued, and still continue, to choose each other every day. We have such a full life together, and it’s only the beginning.

Thank you for everything you do for me. Thank you for still being here. Thank you for loving me the way you do. Thank you for being you.

I could only hope and pray that people get to experience a love like ours in this lifetime.

My newest single “Fire” is out now on all streaming platforms!

I wrote this one with the very talented @abbi_road99 for my songwriting class in 2019. The assignment was to write and record a verse and chorus over an R&B beat that my professor (shoutout Professor Flannery!) sent us. The theme was “fire,” so I chose to use fire as an extended metaphor for anxiety, with fire imagery woven throughout the lyrics. I decided the overall concept wouldn’t just be an allegory for mental health struggles, but also for recovery.

I sang a quick voice note into my phone and didn’t think much of it again until I presented it in class and everyone had a really positive reaction to it.

I ended up loving it, but didn’t finish writing it until 2022/2023.

Then fast forward to when I met @adrian.read in 2024 — the first thing we bonded over was music. I showed him the half-finished voice note, and he convinced me we had to finish it!

That’s when he introduced me to @papa._.sean, who ultimately turned my half-finished voice note into a full-blown dream of a song that I’m extremely proud of 🫶🏾

Fast forward to now—I chose to release “Fire” on my birthday. It’s both a gift and a reminder to myself that I am more than my sometimes all-consuming mental health struggles. I ultimately choose to overcome and live instead.

“Easy” - out now on all streaming platforms - link in my bio ❣️

what started as a pop love song….turned into rock!
I wrote this at the beginning of our relationship - about a kind of love that feels seamless. The kind where you don’t settle. The kind that feels once in a lifetime. The kind that prevails despite trials and tribulations. The most organic feeling that words can’t fully articulate.

It’s a year later, and I still feel the same way.

“Crash” is out now on all streaming platforms 🌊

@papa._.sean and I made this one on a whim last summer, and it became my first r&b record. “Crash” is about the love you can’t escape—the kind that haunts your mind, breaks your heart, and still pulls you back—the same way that ocean waves advance and recede.
Hope you all enjoy it 🩵

My new single “Crash” comes out at midnight ET this Friday wherever you listen to music✨🌊

This one encapsulates a modern r&b vibe that @papa._.sean and I started as a side quest, but it then turned into a passion project!
