5 years later on a random search we found that @joseundaart is part of the @natgallerycan @agotoronto and toronto reference library library and archives. Not only were we not aware of this, but we wondered why it matters?

According to knowledgeable people, being included in the National Gallery of Canada's and AGO's archives is generally considered impressive, particularly for Canadian artists and those with a connection to Canadian art history. The National Gallery's Library and Archives is the most extensive visual arts library in Canada and the AGO is also a significant library and both play a vital role in preserving and promoting Canadian art and art history.

We started @joseundaart online journey in 2020 when I went to search for him online and found it wanting. For an artist that is so accomplished it was hard to find anything on his career or himself. Now if you type in José Unda he is easily found through all the usual spots…..and now some of the less usual spots too….so mission accomplished Yay. by @artsify.io

Joined the fun at the Emerging Art Collectors evening at @art_toronto! Thank you @artfairemily and team for the curation of interesting works and as always a great crowd of art collectors, experts from the industry, and art galleries with their standout artists.

Community in art is where it’s at. The new friendships, and partnerships we make at art events are the best part!

Pictures in order featuring: light artists @hanskotterart @schliedercontemporary; @samplingculture wth art author @magnusresch; sculpture at @sahar.k.boluki_artgallery by @marcelosuaznabar; a booth at the Sur Arte section featuring Latin American art galleries and artists. Last two photos: Michelle Y Williams cubes mounted on metal and acrylic at @k.plus.y; Harold Town at @cuttsgallery.

Great connecting with @intangible_space & friends!

Works from @art_toronto that I loved, in no particular order.

@claudiagutierrezart works with yarn… 🧶 loved the organic structures and shapes and rich color palette. Simple and beautiful! 👌👌

More impactful works by @claudiagutierrezart at @surgallery 👌

Fabric works by @julianacorreag at @balsaarte - amazing textures and symbolism.

@klassebool at @dfariagallery - an elaborate and large work with neutral monochrome color palette sets the tone for contemplation 🤔💭

Light boxes with quirky otherworldly portraits nested within one another. @jfbouchard1 at @blouindivision

@clintroenisch Harold Klunder work

✨Got to meet @magnusresch at @art_toronto ArtToronto tonight, and honestly I did a double take. You usually see him at the big international art hubs, so seeing him right here in Toronto, Canada 🇨🇦 was a wonderful surprise.

His books are some of my all-time favourites. “How to Collect Art” taught me so much about building a collection, and and “Management of Art Galleries” opened my eyes to even more that we’re using here at @artsify.io 📚

Thank you, Magnus, for being so generous with your time, and for making the art world more open to all of us: collectors, artists, art entrepreneurs 🙏

next saturday and Sunday 11-5pm see @joseundaart fort the last time in 2026. by @artsify.io

Enjoyed the work of @franciscovalverdestudio at @galerieleroyer in Toronto, with @artsify.io . Looking forward to seeing more art at @arttoronto this month and sharing some updates here.

To me this work has broad resonance with the work of @joseundaart - mainly the natural organic shapes and themes. Topography for example. The textures and impact of light and shape on the earth.🌏 Meanwhile the media used is vastly different: resin vs acrylic.

Nevertheless a viewer experiences the art and gets lost observing the movement on the surface they see. The artist in the process is in a sort of focused meditation. Art and artist become one 🧘🏻‍♂️ by @artsify.io
