🇬🇧 General Grievous was one of the miniatures I absolutely wanted to paint as soon as it was announced. It has a really cool pose and, in my opinion, is one of the best sculpts in the Shatterpoint range. But then I got the mini, and it just sat unpainted on the pile of shame for what felt like forever. There was always a more important project, and never any time for the General. But after a while, I finally got motivated and finished painting the mini in just under a day. It really is a great miniature, but the lightsabers are a total nightmare to transport.

🇬🇧 A spider that gets bitten by a radioactive pig and then becomes a superhero? Marvel at its best 😂. I love this completely bonkers character and deliberately wanted to go for more of a comic-book look here. It didn’t quite turn out quite as I’d hoped, but on the whole it works.

Marvel at his best 😂.

🇬🇧 Spider-Man from the 1930s? Introducing Spider-Man Noir. I think the character is pretty cool, both visually and in terms of his backstory. It’s a shame AMG didn’t give him a Tommy gun. That would have made him look pretty badass.

🇩🇪 Spider-Man aus den 1930er Jahren? Hier kommt Spider-Man Noir.

🇬🇧 Sandman – made of plastic and… sand. I found the texture a bit too washed-out, so I decided to actually cover the sandy areas with real sand and paint them afterwards. I’m quite pleased with the result. And what could be cooler than a Sandman made with real sand? ;).
-------------------------
🇩🇪 Sandman - bestehend aus Plastik und... Sand.

🇬🇧 At first, I wasn’t at all keen on Carnage, as I find the character really ugly and couldn’t relate to him at all. However, I actually ended up having quite a lot of fun painting him. And he’s already served me well in the game, wounding one character, taking another out and dealing damage to yet another in a single round – I’ll just say ‘Paint the town red’ 👹.
-------------------------

🇬🇧 Beast from the X-Men for Marvel Crisis Protocol. What I find funny about this mini is that you can not only pose him in a fighting stance, but also as Beast the bookworm.
-------------------------

🇬🇧 Rhino for Marvel Crisis Protocol. This was the first mini from the Spider-Foes Starter Set that I painted. I drew a great deal of inspiration from @johann_chestnutink for both the paint job and the base.

🇬🇧 Have you seen Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord? What did you think of the series?

I thought it was brilliant. Maul has always been one of my favourite characters. And I found the idea of weaving his story into a sort of detective series quite refreshing. I particularly liked the concept art style of the series – it was a real treat to look at. What did you like about the series, and what not so much?
-------------------------

🇬🇧 What an amazing model is that? I reckon the new Prince Imrahil of Dol Amroth is seriously the coolest model for the Middle-earth strategy game that GW has released in ages. What do you think?
-------------------------
Was meint ihr?
