Christmas has officially arrived at Asda, and this year we’re bringing BIG BOOM ENERGY 🎄💥

Our new 2026 Christmas campaign message, ‘All of Christmas at Asda Price. BOOM!’, shows customers that while they don’t need to cut back on spreading festive joy, they can cut back on the cost.

Featuring larger-than-life moments, including a dancing gingerbread man, a giant pyro-cracker and an unexpected Christmas rave, the campaign celebrates everything customers love about the season, with Asda and George helping to make Christmas magical at the value customers expect.

And there’s even more festive joy to come. From Friday 6th November, we’re giving seven families the chance to enjoy Christmas on us, with a £500 Asda voucher up for grabs each weekend in the run-up to the big day over on our main Instagram and Facebook pages 🎁 by @asdaprteam

Did someone say... Bell End? 👀

New research from Asda Money reveals that nearly two thirds (65%) of Brits admit to being distracted by a rude-sounding road name, while 60% say they’ve laughed so much at a funny road name that they’ve missed a turn or exit.

That’s why we headed to some of the UK’s rudest-named locations and covered the signs with green curtains, helping keep drivers’ eyes firmly on the road ahead 🚗💚 by @asdaprteam

Yesterday, we hosted our annual Christmas in September showcase, unveiling this year’s festive range!🎄

From champagne and seafood to our award-winning cheese & wine selection, guests were invited to experience the very best of @asda this Christmas, with our Exceptional range taking centre stage.✨

Set in historic station arches in the heart of London, the venue was transformed into an Exceptional Station, taking guests on a journey through Asds’s standout festive heroes and latest innovations - all worth stopping for.

Throughout the evening, guests had the opportunity to hear directly from our Product Developers, bringing to life the inspiration, craftsmanship and stories behind the range, creating a truly immersive and memorable experience.🥂

💝With sneak peeks from @georgeatasda’s Fashion & Home festive ranges, guests enjoyed a first look at on-trend party dresses, comfy pyjamas, scented candles and gifting.

To celebrate Yorkshire Day last week, we settled the debate once and for all… it’s not ‘Asda’ or ‘The Asda’… it’s t’Asda!📣💚

Proud of our Yorkshire heritage, we renamed our popular Yorkshire-based store; Asda Barnsley Superstore, to ‘t’Asda’ as a playful nod to Yorkshire’s dialect and a nickname that generations of locals have already been using.

Across Thursday, Friday and Saturday, customers were also treated to true, warm Yorkshire welcomes, with complimentary white roses (the county’s iconic emblem), and colleagues embracing some of Yorkshire’s best-loved styles and sayings.👒🗯️

Yorkshire legend @samnixon18 came along and took @asda followers through his favourite Yorkshire food & drink picks in the aisles, because who doesn’t love a Yorkshire Pud, a Yorkshire Tea or a Wensleydale Cheese?🎤🧀

Asda customers and colleagues alike will be glad to know that Asda Barnsley’s new sign is set to remain until early September, with locals already campaigning for it to stay indefinitely!👏 by @asdaprteam

As excitement builds ahead of England’s crucial match against Norway this Saturday, Asda Eastlands store in Manchester launched its very own ‘Wonder Wall’ today, inviting football fans to come together to leave good luck messages for the team.✍️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿⚽️

The first message was left by former England player and legend Phil Jagielka @pjags06, with another special guest surprising Asda customers throughout the day.👀💚

As the excitement builds for tonight’s football game, we’ve scoured the country for Asda’s starting line-up of colleagues, with some VERY familiar names👀.

A big shoutout to all our amazing colleagues who are working hard to bring match day spirit into stores, depots and beyond.

Asda is helping the nation’s Declans avoid a red-faced summer by offering free sun cream to customers named ‘Declan’ via the Asda Rewards app, following England midfielder Declan Rice’s sunburnt training appearance.🥵⚽️

Rice was spotted looking ‘burnt’ in a squad photoshoot, revealing that he’d been told off by his mum for forgetting to wear sun protection. Asda has since stepped in to make sure other Declans don’t make the same mistake this summer.🔥

Live now, Asda Rewards users named ‘Declan’ can claim a free bottle of Asda’s SPF 50 Sun Lotion via the app, available until kick-off of England’s match on Wednesday 17 June, 9pm.

You’re welcome, Declans!☀️ by @asdaprteam

We’ve teamed up with Chris Kamara and Kris Boyd to help more fans feel confident joining the football conversation ahead of the big tournament ⚽️🏆

With 60% of Brits saying they’re fair-weather fans and nearly half (48%) feeling out of their depth when football chat kicks off, we’re making the game more accessible for everyone.

Our new training video sees Kammy and Kris break down the rules, lingo and match-day moments in simple terms.

And in stores, look out for colleagues wearing ‘Football Fanatic’ or ‘Fair Weather Fan’ badges - showing they’re happy to chat football at any level.

Because whether you know every rule or none at all, there’s a place for everyone in the conversation 💚 by @asdaprteam

This summer, we’re backing every fan all the way to the final! From football fanatics to fair-weather fans. 🏆

With 80% of Brits saying football shirts are too expensive, Asda is helping fans get tournament-ready for less, with England and Scotland-inspired t-shirts available for £12 and under. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

But we’re going one step further…

Introducing Shirt Happens, our new shirt swap initiative giving fans a no-risk way to show their support.

Customers who purchase a selected George football shirt in-store can wear it throughout the tournament. Whether it’s covered in matchday spills, pub garden wear-and-tear or celebration chaos, customers can still exchange it for another item if England or Scotland don’t make it to the final.

T&Cs:
Customers who purchase an official England or Scotland football shirt from an Asda store between Monday 18th May 2026 and the date of the respective team’s elimination from the tournament may return the shirt in any condition to a participating Asda store if England or Scotland do not reach the final of the tournament.
Returns must be made within 24 hours of the respective team’s loss that confirms they have not progressed to the final. If either England or Scotland reach the final, this offer will no longer be valid.
Customers must present a valid proof of purchase. A refund will be issued in the form of an Asda Gift Card to the value originally paid for the shirt. No cash alternative. Gift Cards are subject to standard Asda Gift Card terms.
Returns are only valid at Asda Superstores that have a George clothing offering. One return per qualifying shirt. Subject to availability and store discretion. Asda reserves the right to amend or withdraw this offer at any time.
The standard returns policy still applies for faulty or damaged goods.
Eligible products include: England FC Official Red Three Lions T-shirt, England FC Official White Striped T-shirt, Fifa Navy Scotland T-shirt, Kids Scotland FIFA Tee, Kids England FA Shirt.
All returned shirts will be donated to charity. by @asdaprteam
