October was one for the books 👻

It was practically magical, full of screams, belly laughs, good food and even better friends. Grateful 🫶🏼

If you’re not going to @saddiesandbaddies.az craft nights, what are you even doing 💅🏻

This craft club has been such a fun break / hobby for my busy entrepreneur brain, and anyone who knows me knows the sure fire way to kidnap me is to make it a Halloween theme (or tell me there will be dogs, either or) 👻.

Thank you to @saddiesandbaddies.az for another great night and to @azhouseoftouch for the event space and all of the fun vendors!! Was such a cute night 🖤 by @ash.in.thedesert

Happy gotcha day to my little Beasley 🐾🐕.

Can’t believe it’s been a year since we showed up 30 minutes before @foothillsanimalrescue even opened, praying you would still be there because I fell in love with you the minute I saw your little face.

Life is a paw-ty with you in it beez 💕🐝

Ps. The last two slides are of the day we got her 😭. What a peanut.

A few crumbs from my camera lately 🤍 by @ash.in.thedesert

More my speed, to be Frank 🍸

This bar is absolutely gorgeous… total Sinatra, Gatsby, moody-lit vibes. Great cocktail program, great bites, and just overall such a good vibe.

Plan ahead and grab a reservation if you can so you’re comfy, or if you don’t mind taking a chance, just show up and hang in the standing-room area until a spot opens up. They’ve got live music on select nights and I’d highly recommend it for a date night (especially one where you don’t need to talk too much since it’s pretty lively with the music).

10/10 in our book — already can’t wait to go back.

Just look at the immense joy we would’ve missed out on 🥺.

The greatest love and the greatest grief in one little body.

I like to think Duncan helped pick her out 🫶🏼.

What a joy it is to be so loved by such a little being whose greatest happiness is yours.

End of 2023 photo dump — fashionably late just like the person posting it 😌. by @ash.in.thedesert

East Coast Trip Photo Dump 🍁. Solo travel is my absolute favorite, because no one decides what you’re doing, what you eat, where you walk, except your very own soul.

Take me back 🫶🏻! by @ash.in.thedesert

My little Coco Bean. We got you on Valentine’s day 11 years ago and this Valentine’s Day, we said goodbye.

We had 11 great years, but losing you so suddenly, it doesn’t feel like nearly enough and my heart feels a lot less full without you here 💔🐾.

You were our little rascal, always harassing your brother Duncan, and getting into something you shouldn’t be. You brought laughter, light, companionship and love to our lives. We’ll miss you so much.

I hope you’re running around up there somewhere with Duncan. My forever valentine 💔. by @ash.in.thedesert

Not a bed bug 😩.

The bear is always as snug as a bed bug in high thread count coziness when we travel 🐾.

Only the best dog friendly hotels for this household ✋🏼.

Years of working in social media and running an agency for over 6 years has taught me how to spot a story in motion…

But this wasn’t even about that. These moments of her… soft, quiet, unposed, felt too good not to capture and share. For no other reason than it brought JOY, and I hope it does to you too.

As business owners stuck in the hamster wheel of competing for views, shares, and engagement, and against ourselves, we sometimes lose sight of what creating really is.

It’s an extension of our creativity, our personality, and our perspective. And it’s okay to share that too. Creating content gets a lot more fun when it’s done with passion.

This is your sign to also normalize creating… just because it moves you and brings you closer to others and who you are.

Ps. If you listen close, you’ll hear her owner say she gets a trip to the beach every single day. My heart. 🤍🌊🐾
