9th in the world 🤯🌎
There’s so much that goes into a result like this that many will never fully understand, only I know how much work I put into this and what every single day of my life the last 11 years has looked like working towards my dream. A top 10 at worlds represents the biggest milestone of my journey to date towards that dream

When I switched to a sprinter less then 1 year ago, i didn’t expect to be here so quickly. But I did the work, I learned, and I found my new path forward.

This worlds was pure chaos for every athlete and we were all unfortunately affected by uncontrollable conditions and world skates negligence. But amidst the chaos around me my focus remained on trying to focus on what I can control - something I’ve been working on all year. A crazy week but we kept the head in the game and in the end it all came together in the best possible way

200m TT - 19th
500m - 16th
1 lap - DNS in protest
100m - 9th

Thanks to everyone who has been a part of my journey🙏. The dream is within arms reach now - the next years are going to be fun 😝

My journey with post concussion syndrome. For a long time I didn’t want to talk about, accept or acknowledge the effects my concussion had on me. Now it’s something I’m incredibly passionate about raising awareness for. Mistakes I wish I never made and hope others don’t.
Not many people will know the work it’s taken and continues to take for me to be able to do what I do. It’s been the hardest 3 years of my life but it’s shown me resilience I didn’t know I had. It’s taught me the importance of having people in your corner who won’t give up on you when things get hard. It continues to be an uphill battle but we keep pushing. Nothing good comes from anything easy 🙏 by @asha_hick4rd

3 months of giving it absolutely everything and it’s all starting to come together ahead of my first world champs as a sprinter. Really proud of the work that’s been put in and what challenges we’ve been able to work through. Excited with how things are building and what’s starting to show after navigating through many setbacks.
Last big week ahead for this final block of prep before we start to sharpen things up. 🔜🇵🇾 by @asha_hick4rd
