Great client relationships are built on more than plans and timelines. They start with good communication, mutual trust, and a shared understanding that make collaboration stronger from the very beginning.

We’re honored to share that our ‘Davidson Estate’ took home “Best New Home” in the highest price point category at last night’s Best of the Lake Home Builders Association Gala!

Huge thanks to our incredible clients, talented team, skilled subcontractors, and the visionary architectural design by @ashleyjdesign, as well as interior design done by our very own BAAS boss @amberatbuildwithbaas.

Much like siblings, these two custom homes were designed to stand side by side—sharing a foundation of similar elements while embracing their own unique personalities.

Each home reflects its owner's distinct style, yet they complement one another beautifully, creating a harmonious streetscape. From shared architectural details to subtle design variations, these “sibling” homes prove that no two are exactly alike, yet together, they tell a story of individuality and connection.

Would you build next door to your sibling? Or do you like the idea of a perfectly paired neighbor? Let us know in the comments.

Over time, the best builder-client relationships are built on trust, communication, and knowing you have a team that will stand behind their work.

This home marks our ninth project with this client, and we’re grateful to have earned the opportunity to keep building together.

At the heart of every project are people who want to feel heard and understood.

Empathy creates space for that. It builds trust, strengthens the relationship, and helps turn what someone envisions into something that truly feels like theirs.

There’s more to a renovation budget than the numbers.

The best projects make room for both the financial investment and the emotional investment, because a thoughtful process is part of what makes the finished home worth it.

A successful project begins long before construction. When the right team comes together around a shared vision, it creates a better process, experience, and home.

Great design is about more than how a home looks. It’s about finding creative solutions that make the most of every opportunity.

Great design starts with listening. By understanding what matters most to each client, we can create a home that feels personal, thoughtful, and unmistakably theirs.

Some of the most intentional design decisions are the ones you don’t immediately see.
It’s in the way space is planned, cost is considered, and function is elevated without compromising the overall vision. When those layers align, the result feels both seamless and purposeful.

Every project comes down to balance: fit, finish, and overall value working in harmony.

This one found its strength right at that intersection, where thoughtful design decisions and smart use of space came together to serve what the client truly needed. A reminder that the best outcomes aren’t just about what’s possible, but about what’s purposeful.
