the only time i’ve been completely oblivious and it’s worked out in my favour 🤭💌🪽✨

gia told me he’d booked us a photographer for the day and i thought okay cute what a lovely supportive boyfriend encouraging my photo obsession 🥰

turns out he had a whole secret operation underway 🥸

(in retrospect perhaps i should’ve been a little bit suspicious)

so here i am 🧚🏼‍♀️ just a girl enjoying her little photoshoot 🧚🏼‍♀️ blissfully unaware she’s about to be proposed to 💍✨ by @ashleylouisee

best view of the trip? him on one knee 💍🤍 by @ashleylouisee

hiking from theth to valbona + a little bit of shkodër 🏔️✨
📍 albania pt. 2
✓ theth: blue eye hike, doggies, pretty river swims
✓ 17-ish km hike from theth → valbona (UNREAL BTW)
✓ valbona: v cold swims, mountain views, yummy food + cows ruling the town
✓ shkodër: rozafa castle, fun lively town + drinking way too much (never give me raki or tequila again) xx

the albanian riviera really is that girllll 🦩✨
travel diary/highlights below 🇦🇱
✓ Llogara Pass - mountain roads and insane views driving through
✓ Stayed in Dhermi - relaxed, good nightlife + resturants
✓ Old Dhërmi - cute old village overlooking the coast
✓ Drymades beach & Dhermi beach - gorg beaches + lots of beach clubs
✓ Grama Bay - you NEED to do a boat day!! hidden beaches, caves + coves. most drone photos are from our boat day!
✓ Blue Cave - swimming into this was sooo cool 🥹
✓ Gjipe - insaneee beach tucked between the cliffs
✓ Himarë - this is where we got the boat tour from! good resturants + cafes
✓ Aquarium Bay - gorg hidden cove
✓ Livadhi beach - went jet skiing here for my birthday!! sooo fun but $$$
✓ Porto Palermo - castle literally surrounded by the prettiest blue water
✓ Qeparo - beaches, restaurants + the half-abandoned Old Qeparo
✓ flamingosss 🥹🦩

also worth noting - there was LOTS of construction/development happening along the riviera when we visited, so some areas are definitely changing fastttt (hopefully not too much) 🥺

lastlyyy i’d recommend getting a car to experience the area properly! 🫶🏽🇦🇱✨ by @ashleylouisee

consider this your second serving of Milos 🧿

📍Milos, Greece 🇬🇷 steal my long list of recommendations below ↓

✓ Sarakiniko is a must (non-negotiable!!). it feels like you’re walking on another planet 🌝 highly recommend going at sunrise as well. it was incredibleee
✓ boat day is also non-negotiable (evidence is in my last post)
✓ we ate way too many gyros from Yankos, but they’re just sooo good
✓ hire a car or ATV!! you’ll need one to reach all the cool places
✓ beach-hop around Plathiena for a peaceful bay, Fyriplaka for colourful cliffs and Tsigrado for a rather adventurous rope and ladder climb down
✓ visit Paliochori for its volcanic cliffs and have lunch at Sirocco!! they cook your food beneath the volcanically heated sand. it’s a bit pricey, but a really cool experience
✓ Papafragas Caves - a dramatic cove carved between huge cliffs
✓ Papikinou Beach - easy, relaxed beach stop close to Adamas
✓ visit the fishing villages of Mandrakia and Firopotamos for colourful boat garages and pretty water
✓ wander Plaka’s streets, walk up to Plaka Castle for sunset 🌞 or if you cbs walking to the castle, there are other sunset spots nearby. message me and I’ll tell you where we went!
✓ Avli-Milos in Plaka for dinner 🤤
✓ make sure you check the wind before planning your boat and beach days. the conditions can be completely different depending on which side of the island you visit!

Milos is small but mighty 💙
📍 stayed in Adamas for 4 nights

I don’t even believe this water is real and I was there
Milos 💙
✓ boat day was with Milos Adventures (full day sailing around the island with heaps of swim stops)
✓ lunch, snacks & drinks included!!
✓ highly recommend the boat tour but I don’t recommend drinking as much as I did xx
