Farewell, Spooky Season 🎃

The second half of October was magical!! A bonfire with friends, sushi almost too pretty to eat, a tour of Lauritzen Garden's spooky plants, pumpkin-patching and Scary Acres, haunting reads, baking homemade chocolate chip cookies as Frog and Toad, some hand-painted worry stones, and a snapshot of me after 9 pm.

All the peace and love to you all as we enter Scorpio Season 💚

Love comes in many forms 🧡

October is halfway over and I already have so much joy to share. I'm constantly repeating myself, but I'm truly forever grateful for my friends and family. Life is so easy with you all in it!! Thank for every moment - much peace and love.

Hideaway Farms Hog Roast 🍂

Only a few moments were captured on film, but every moment was well-lived. It's not always easy being where our feet are...I am grateful for the friends who make it so. Between the late-night confessions, nature walks, yard games, and overflowing plates, laughter and connection helped reset my nervous system and readied me for colder weather. Much peace and love, and happy fall 💚

🌸💚 Spring has been generous with its changes, and opportunities to express love and gratitude. I am thankful for it all, but most specially, for my family and friends. My welcome to summer is forming, but I wish for quality time with loved ones, and a better understanding of balance.

"Perhaps, after everything
There are still rings that continue forming,
And deep in the forest, as you trace them,
You might just start to notice:
That while your search for more is present,
The passing of each breath tells the story
Of all the life already in the layers." - M.H.N. by @ashleyrkbrown

Annual Lightning Creek Cattle Co Branding Day ♡

Always honored to spend a day with this crew - even when it's pouring rain. Another successful branding day for the books!! I'm so proud of the hard work that goes in to making this day come together, and for all the people who motivate and teach the new batch of student workers every year. They leave with a new set of skills, pride in hard work, and important life lessons. Thank you for having us again - until next year!! Much peace and love 💚

"I only have two hands
and so every day
I have to decide
what I can carry.
Regret
is a waste
of a hand,
and so is
anger.
One hand
is almost always
reserved
for hope.
(The other holds tight to you.)"

2025 in Review:

For a year that seemed to fly by, there was so much that happened. From simple things like learning new recipes and coffee dates with friends, to big life changes like moving a child states away for college and being diagnosed with chronic illnesses. Upon reflection, 2025 was the year for awareness and the acceptance of change. While I'm allowing myself rest for the remainder of winter, 2026 will be welcomed as the year for more growth and mindfulness. I am thankful for everyone I have had the opportunity to connect with, and look forward to all the moments we'll get to share in the future.

🍂 October has come and gone with memories of celebrating new album releases, my twin's first 75 mile relay, a successful theatre production, lunches with coworkers, dinner parties with friends, kitten cuddles, and delivering pizza to the Ninja Turtles on Halloween remaining. I'll be carrying these feelings of joy and comfort into the winter season ❄️
