Meet Seed Library bartender @ashlitatas — a painter, domino champion, and mezcal devotee. A first-generation Colombian & Egyptian born and raised in New Jersey, Ash got their start in hospitality as a self-proclaimed “scoopologist” at Friendly’s Ice Cream Parlor at just 14 years old. These days, Ash’s favourite thing about their job is “Being a part of a team that is not only insanely talented, but are some of the kindest and most hospitable people on Earth.” Do you have a pet? “Yes, a sweet dachshund mix named Arya. She’s 8 and we have the same eyebrows.” Secret Talent: “I can say the alphabet backwards super fast.” Dream Night Out: “Starting by visiting a friend at a favourite bar and ending somewhere in the middle of a dancefloor.” Fave Bars: Form + Matter (CDMX), Bósforo (CDMX), Elvis (NYC), Superbueno (NYC) Fave Restaurants: Goodnight Sonny’s (NYC), Taqueria Downtown (Jersey City), Kazunori (NYC), Mi Compa Chava (CDMX) Fave Pub: Swift Hibernian Lounge (NYC) 📍Catch Ashley at Seed Library NYC, open now at @hotelparkave! by @ashlitatas

@tales_of_the_cocktail recap pt. 1: LIKE-MINDED SPIRITS 🌟 Still processing this special and much needed moment with @kapri.possible @el_tiburolobo & @erikaflowers that still feels like a dream! “Like-Minded Spirits” was created to honor and share the stories, history, and achievements of those who paved the way for our own successes today and for us to continue creating history and working towards collective change in our industry. Thank you to everyone who attended - the energy in the room was truly unlike anything I’ve ever felt before. Something that just started as an idea 2 years ago blossomed into a seminar at THEEEE Tales of the Cocktail. I feel incredibly grateful and humbled for the opportunity to put this together and truly at a loss for words To my panelists, WE DID THAT! ✨ Thank you for being a true gift to this industry. You are SO inspiring and you impact the lives of everyone you come across. Your voices are POWERFUL. You left us with goosebumps all over our bodies 😮‍💨 To our dear @lyannasanabria who couldn’t make it, we love you and missed you deeply - you are truly an icon that deserves a stage so this just gives us an excuse to do it all over again 😎💕 thank you @tales_of_the_cocktail & @thecommunityspiritco for giving us the platform to do our thing and believing in what we had to say thank you to the AMAZING @cocktailapprenticeprogram leaders @ashhflynn @labonitafunk for putting together our delicious Huriya Lemonade welcome drink and the seminar space. You’ve brought my vision to life🍹🫂 More “Like-Minded Spirits” content + videos of the convo to come - Stay tuned! 🎥 📸 by the amazing @by__dre 🫶 #talesofthecocktail #totc2024 by @ashlitatas

thank you @bacardi @dussecognac for inviting me to be a part of this year’s KINSHIP, where I had the privilege of sharing a piece of myself to a room full of people I look forward to having in my life for a long time 🫀🤎🇪🇬 using my own dukkah spice blend comprised of pistachio, hazelnut, coriander seed, sesame seed, cumin, cayenne, and black peppercorn, I infused @dussecognac and used that as the base spirit with an added kiss of @cointreau. paired with @cafedumonde coffee that I brewed over orange peels and cinnamon sticks and then sweetened with a dukkah-spice demerara syrup, my after dinner sip was stirred cold, packed with flavor, and served with love another @tales_of_the_cocktail in the books, I love you New Orleans 4ever n ever n ever n ever n everrrrrr ✨ (slide 3: Ashley Eldefri*) 📸: @mayo2media by @ashlitatas
