![A few days before my birthday, Namita Didi told me she wanted to gift me something and asked what I’d like. When I couldn’t think of anything, she brought up the idea of Ladu Gopal Ji and asked if I’d like that.
When she actually made it happen and brought my little Kanha home on my birthday, I was truly ecstatic. 🥹🤍
It was such a thoughtful gift, and one I’ll always remember. My little Kanha is home. 🪷✨

![Had a dress. Found a river. 🤷🏻♀️💙 I’ve been thinking about how many different versions of ourselves we become as life changes.
After marriage, we girls can get so caught up in new traditions, expectations and identities that we sometimes forget the parts of ourselves we once loved.
And because we genuinely love the people and life we’ve chosen, we don’t always realise we’re missing a little bit of ourselves too.
Then one day, you go back to something you used to do, wear or love and think - “Oh, I really was missing this.”
And being this version of me doesn’t make me any less of who I am today. I can be this too.
So go find that girl again. She’s still there, waiting for you to let her come out and live again. 🫶🏻😇

![I think some pictures wait for their song. ❤️
These were taken almost a year ago, when our club turned into a little film set for a month - rehearsals, direction, shooting, a stage performance and, eventually, Best Actor and Best Actress. 🎬🏆
Our team was doing Lagaan, and somewhere along the way, Bhuvan and Gauri became Krishna and Radha for a little while - dancing to Madhuban Mein Jo Kanhaiya…
I had always wanted to share these pictures, but somehow they never found their moment.
Until Janmashtami.
And this year, instead of posting them as just another memory from an old event, I wanted to see them through a different lens - as a little ode to my Kanhaiya. 🦚❤️
@vdhandia ✨
So, two days after Janmashtami, here they are.
Because some memories don’t belong to a date. They just wait for the right feeling.

![I really didn’t see Hong Kong coming this time. 😂🤍
I travelled almost 24 hours to Hong Kong, ended up spending 8 days there, and somehow made it back home in another 24. 😂
What made this whole, otherwise ordinary journey feel so different was how completely unplanned it was. It all came together at the last minute, and suddenly, there I was.
It made me think about how much psychology plays a role in how we experience life. When you don’t have a chance to imagine how something will unfold, you meet it with a completely different openness.
And even though this was my third time in Hong Kong, it somehow felt new.
Still feels surreal, honestly.
Love our unplanned moments together. 🤗
