God is good! Another year on the mats with my favorite training partners. Blessed that all the sacrifices and pain in my 20s has led to such valuable time with my kids.
Would not trade it for anything. God is good. All the time!

Alot of history in one picture. Who knew when I decided to train almost 20 years ago I'd end up doing this for a living and living my dream every day. It's not an easy life, and it's been hell on my body. But I would not trade it for any amount of money. Just the beginning still young still got lots left and alot more lives to impact.

Every day I wake up, I'm learning to be thankful. Thankful to God not just for being alive but for getting to live out my dreams every day. I remember when I was younger waking up and hating life because I was going somewhere to waste my time to just collect a paycheck to live. But through Gods grace and a ton of extremely hard work, pain, and suffering, I've turned my passion into my career. And if I'm honest ya, I run a business, but no, it's not work. I still put in 70 to 80 + hr work weeks. I'm still the only full-time coach and do all the admin , marketing, web design, phone calls etc etc.

This photo here. The tattered belt the backdrop of my gym, my own academys patch... it shows the cumulative effort of 20 years in this. 2 decades since I was 15 and began this journey.

I hope my journey, which is far from over, inspires, motivates, and creates a fire in others to suffer now and put in the work and live the rest of your life, living your dreams. Because Everyday I wake up. I'm living mine. Ossss

In January I set out with an intention of working hard for 6 months to see what was left after 7 surgeries and 20 years of competition and training. After a great month my father passed. I was derailed and I did not make this I priority any longer. After months of working and putting everyone else first as well as healing emotionally ive decided to step back into that journey and see where it leads. Dont care about competition or anything. Just want to see what version of myself is left. Excited for the future!
Lots of work to do!

Today's work. They learned put in the time and I rewarded them with an investment into thier future. They both learned some basics on investing and then we sat down and voted and I purchased the company shares they chose.

They were both loving it and they learned more today than they would in the system. Beyond blessed i can do this.

Sometimes we loose perspective. A few weekends ago I traveled to Quebec with one of my athletes. The night did not go our way. I ran into our oponnent samuel after and chatted. He mentioned he was a man of Jesus. So I said let's go backstage and pray together .
Every time I take an athlete to fight we pray for saftey for both us and the opponent. This is why. The fight is whatever.

Il remember this moment. Where all the difference was put aside to pray to our lord and savior.
Its moments like these where these two men were just moments before in a ring trying to hurt each other to praying together which reminds me life is amazing. God is amazing. And this is why I do what I do.
Congratulations both Alex and Samuel. This is what men look like. Warriors and men of faith.
I hope ypu two go on to inspire many others as the years go. God bless

Fyi meta butchered the captions but whatever lol

Traditions dont last forever so you gotta enjoy them while they last. Pulled an all nighter and drove 7 hours to get home from a work trip to get home and make sure I could fulfill our Tradition. Thanksgiving = Family, Food, and football. #thankful by @ashnemdhari

Its been pretty much 4 years since I opened my academy. I set a standard for how I would progress athletes from day 1 to competitive cage fighting. Ive had plenty come in say they want it but either quit or could not have the heart to go with my process. I demand a certain rank or proficiency in Jiujitsu as well as striking proficiency and matches . In that process I have been involved in the sanctioning bodies for both kickboxing and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. I hate them both. The communities are toxic, money driven and the focus is on control and finances.
MMA however... no costs. No club fees . No athelte fees. Just fighting. It feels amazing to corner and be involved back in mma after a few years away developing my program. Winning is not political athletes aren't robbed by clickers and corrupt bjj reffing with advantages and penalties. Its just 2 atheltes fighting and seeing who's the better martial artist.
MMA is slowly growing back in my heart. And thats a dangerous thing. It means the level of my coaching will take another leap.
Glad to be back and im so proud of the work I have done to build this program is showing.
Time to work harder! by @ashnemdhari

Yesterday we celebrated our anchor. The glue that holds our family together. Happy birthday to my amazing wife. Mother, wife, teacher, buisness owner, chef, officer incharge of calming me down before I do irrational things. She wears all the hats 👒. We love you and are excited for another blessed year with you. Love you 😍 @hairbybecks

Year 2 in our homeschooling adventure. I cant take credit wifey does most of the work but not having to ship them off somewhere and being able to hang with them and watch them grow is a gift from God. Days like yesterday make me realize how much time I lost not being around my dad. Change the narrative. When we started a business it was to one day allow us to have more free time not less. With our free time we do more work and educate our kids the way we see fit. Homeschooling and entrepreneurship for the win!

Now and where we started as a family. Blessed 🙌

Highlighting excellence. Arya is always in the gym training and putting in the work. This young girl expressed her desire to compete more and has done well over 20 matches so far in 2026. We could not fit all the highlights on one reel but we took just a bit!
Arya is learning each and every time she competes. Taking the losses humbly now she watches the film and tries to drill and correct her mistakes. Mark of a true champion. Remember some people and parents get carried away. She's just 8. The wins and medals don't matter. Who cares. This is about character development, facing your fears, putting yourself in vulnerability and lastly admiting your not the best and fixing your mistakes. No doubt she will continue to put a more polished product on the mats every time she competes.
