I want to shoutout all my talented musical friends who wrote and produced this lovely song in which I had the honour of laying some vocals for on the last hook. Truly wholesome vibes. To all these individuals thank you for inspiring me to continue to create. This one was so fun.

Shifting up the “Waiting List” one day at a time
#IndependentArtist #IndieMusic #DecentralizedArt #Frequency #torontoartist by @astraleazar

The FIRST SINGLE off “Event Horizon”
Waiting List is a song about when your consciousness shifts heavily, it creates an immediate distance. It’s just the raw fact that you can no longer connect to the routines, the systems, or the surface level conversations that used to make sense. You are suddenly speaking a language nobody around you understands, forced into a silent, heavy space where you have to walk entirely alone. But the waiting isn’t passive. This is where the isolation turns into fuel.
This track means so much to me because it is the exact manifestation of that survival. When you have no community to lean on, you are forced to rely entirely on your own hands. I wrote, produced, mixed, and mastered this entire song completely by myself in my room. Every single layer of this track is embodied creativity. It’s about taking that crushing loneliness, sitting in the quiet of the void, and forcing it into a piece of art that can’t be ignored. No team, no budget, no handouts just using the wreckage to build something undeniable and burning my way out like a phoenix from the ashes.

Waiting List is OUT NOW on all Streaming Platforms!!
