"So, the time has come for my second video game OST release, and I want to say a few words.

Thank you @astronautdown for your invaluable help and inspiration once again.
Thank you @gearbox for the trust, and to the whole crew who made another amazing DLC that influenced the music in so many ways. We do these together.

To my dear friend @orestiszafeiriou — thank you for the countless long nights on synths and drums programming, damaging our ears and mixes with me :--)
And my studiomate @kostas_patsiotis_ for casually passing by my room and suggesting to record a bass solo because...why not?

Last but not least thank you to the @riskofraingame community for the love you've shown to me for the past two years

This one is for you!

Greek Retro (1): PC Master, issue 133
December 1st 2000 (1700 δρχ. ≈ €5)

#LucasArts "Escape from Monkey Island" (MI4) was the featured 6-page review of the issue. Andreas Tsourinakis, the resident adventure game reviewer of PCM (and major figure in greek adventure gaming) gives a glowing review of the game, praising its graphics, humour, themes, puzzles, sound, and even the control scheme, with a final score of 99%!

Can't say I fully agree with him, although I too am in the minority that really likes this game (except for the horrible Monkey Kombat). The background art is gorgeous, the voice acting is top notch, and the music is arguably the best of the franchise, which is huge praise! Still a far cry from a 99%, although I do see where Tsourinakis is coming from considering the state of adventure gaming at the time.

If anything, the game's core themes of corporatization, consumerism, gentrification and mass tourism have, unfortunately, aged like fine wine and feel more prescient than ever, especially during the Greek summer.

"So, the time has come for my first video game OST release (link in bio), and I want to say a few words.

FIRST of all, I can't describe my gratitude to @astronautdown for inviting me into the inspiring and beloved sonic world he created for Risk of Rain. His generosity throughout the whole process has been unreal — and having his two keyboard solos on the album means so much to me.

Thank you @gearbox for the trust, and to the whole crew who made an amazing DLC that influenced the music in so many ways. We truly did this together.

To my dear friend Orestis Zafeiriou — thank you for the countless long nights on synths and drums programming, damaging our ears and mixes with me :--)
And @foivoszacharopoulos , my guitar idol since I was 11 — your heartfelt solos in a single day of recording were mind-blowing.

Lastly, thank you to the @riskofraingame community for the love and for making me feel part of this warm family.

We’ll Rain Together..
