![Memories that can’t fade away anytime soon but surely an achievement of a lifetime. On this 75th Republic Day let me share my experience of Republic Day. So I was one of the very few fortunate ones who had the opportunity to attend the “Republic Day Camp 2013” conducted by NCC at Delhi representing my state Kerala for All India level Aeromodelling Competitions and won two gold medals 🥇. Watching the Parade sitting at Rajpath still is a goosebumps giving experience even after years. Meeting many high ranking defence personnel and sharing experiences was a huge confidence booster for us. Got to meet fellow cadets from all parts of our country even outside of our country which helped us a lot. North Indian winters was pretty too much for us on the initial days (south side gang will get the feeling). For me and my buddy [Muhammed Rafi] it was two years of learning, training and experiments which resulted in our glorious achievements. Many people used to make fun of us. All that remains now is a very few pictures and some souvenirs. And the most important part no words to thank my parents for making up there mind and letting me go rather than pressurising me to sit n study during my 11th and 12th classes they were chill as I used to be in camps or my training centre 90% of my 12th standard times. Also can’t forget my instructor and my seniors who helped me day and night. by @aswin.v.j](https://scontent-atl3-1.cdninstagram.com/v/t51.82787-15/652521590_18092000432035534_3709524845293437206_n.jpg?stp=dst-jpg_e35_s640x640_tt6&_nc_cat=103&ccb=7-5&_nc_sid=18de74&efg=eyJlZmdfdGFnIjoiQ0FST1VTRUxfSVRFTS5iZXN0X2ltYWdlX3VybGdlbi5DMyJ9&_nc_ohc=L_8UznZjgHUQ7kNvwFFHN3e&_nc_oc=AdqDLpydVbFTxYpViCzWLlwQcdnszuxvL_V67GsZlsZ_iI2j3SyIIg6MSnu_55w0EnKpDpAsbPattNPJMmNRjEVs&_nc_zt=23&_nc_ht=scontent-atl3-1.cdninstagram.com&_nc_gid=xtdICnNn3Oxq5CWTkj8JbQ&_nc_ss=70580&oh=00_AQS7kwAVPxTyegZBpauC5wiS4Z6uB6V_NqKTtnV0Uup6BQ&oe=6AF13B06)
