Greek Wine Club: Land of Lincoln edition. 🇬🇷🍷

Central Illinois, you were good to us!

A couple of days of great conversations, great accounts, lots of bottles on tables — and plenty of excitement for what’s happening with Greek wine.

We poured through Crete, Macedonia, Attica and beyond, talked native grapes (obviously), found some new homes for Greek wine, and even managed a completely unexpected reunion with my former sales manager from my pre-Athenee days. 😊

From Springfield to Bloomington, this was one of those market trips that leaves you feeling like there’s a whole lot more to come.

Central Illinois: Greek wine is coming for you. 🇬🇷

It is with great pleasure that we have been informed by our USA importers, @athenee_importers, that our wines have received high rankings from Wine Advocate.

Xynisteri — 91/100
Paradosis — 93/100
Commandaria — 94/100
Mouklos — 92/100

This recognition is not only a great honour, but also an important opportunity for the world to recognise the power of Xynisteri. Three of the four awarded labels are made with 100% Xynisteri, highlighting the strength, character, and potential of our beloved Cypriot grape variety.

Congratulations to our viticulture and production team for this success.
