🚨 SEPTEMBER 1: A MAJOR DATE IN THE RECRUITING JOURNEY. ⚾️

For high school baseball players pursuing the opportunity to compete at the next level, September 1 can represent an important shift in the NCAA Division I recruiting process.

For certain prospective student athletes, this is when Division I baseball coaches can begin initiating recruiting communication under NCAA rules.

But here’s the important part:

September 1 isn’t when recruiting preparation should begin. It’s when preparation can start paying off.

Before that first call, text, email, or message comes, athletes should already be working to:

🎯 Develop their game
📚 Take academics seriously
🎥 Keep quality video and recruiting information updated
📧 Communicate professionally
💪 Build character, discipline, and consistency
🤝 Develop relationships with programs
⚾ Compete every opportunity they get

Remember not receiving a call on September 1 does NOT mean your recruiting journey is over. Every athlete develops on a different timeline, and every college program recruits differently.

At Athletes First Foundation, we want young athletes and families to understand the process, prepare for opportunities, and make informed decisions about their futures.

BE READY. BE RECOGNIZED. BE RECRUITED.

Every Athlete. Every Chance.

Travel and club sports can open doors but the cost can close them just as quickly.

At Athletes First Foundation, we believe talent, passion, and potential should never be limited by a family’s ability to pay. Every young athlete deserves the opportunity to compete, develop, and chase their dreams.

One donation could be the reason a kid gets to keep playing. ❤️

Your support. Their opportunity. Their future.

The future doesn’t just happen. We build it.

Every young athlete deserves more than an opportunity to compete. They deserve people who believe in them, mentors who challenge them, and a community committed to helping them become everything they were created to be.

At Athletes First Foundation, we’re investing in the next generation through athletics, mentorship, education, character development, and service.

Because the wins that matter most aren’t always on the scoreboard.

They’re the young people who become leaders.
The athletes who discover their purpose.
The kids who realize their circumstances don’t determine their future.

“The future is not something we enter. The future is something we create.”

And together, we’re creating something bigger than sports.

The recruiting process doesn’t start when a college coach calls.

It starts with understanding the process.

⚾️ NCAA Division I Baseball operates under specific recruiting calendars that determine when and how college coaches can communicate with, evaluate, and have contact with prospective student-athletes.

Knowing the difference between a:

🔴 Contact Period
⚫ Dead Period
🔴 Evaluation Period
⚫ Quiet Period

can help athletes and families become more intentional about recruiting.

At Athletes First Foundation, our mission goes beyond developing athletes. We want to educate, empower, and prepare young people for opportunities beyond the game.

Parents and players: SAVE THIS POST.
Send it to another baseball family navigating the college recruiting process.

Your future.
Your game.
Your move.

Recruiting rules and calendars are subject to change. Always verify current information with the NCAA and the college’s compliance department.

Under the lights, something bigger than baseball happened today. 💙⚾️

Mentors showed up. Law enforcement stood shoulder to shoulder with the community. And the Los Angeles Dodgers helped bring the game we love straight to the heart of the city.

This wasn’t just about hits, runs, and wins…
It was about giving kids a safe place to dream, to belong, and to believe in something greater than their circumstances.

Gloves were shared. Smiles were earned. Futures were inspired.

This is what happens when a community comes together with purpose.
This is how you change lives—one pitch, one conversation, one kid at a time.

🚨Coach Jake Is Back With Weekly Mindset Seminars!

Athletes:
You work. You practice. You prepare.
But in big moments… your confidence doesn’t always show up.

Parents:
You know your athlete is capable of more.
You see the frustration after games. The overthinking. The pressure they put on themselves.

Talent isn’t the problem.

Mental training is missing.

That’s why I built The Inner Edge Academy™ — a weekly live mental performance training system for athletes who want consistency, composure, and real confidence under pressure.

Confidence. Resilience. Leadership. Composure.

Trained every week.

The athletes who separate themselves physically?
They train weekly.

The athletes who separate themselves mentally?
They train here.

If you’re serious about development — not just potential — this is your next step.

Founding member spots are limited.
