POSTS STORIES REELS

Another year, another glorious Goodwood Revival @goodwoodrevivalstyle.
.
.
What a fabulous Saturday I had with @twenty_outfits as guests of @dukeofrichmond.
.
.
Thanks as always to @gracetimothywriter for inviting me this year to be a judge of the Best Dressed competition alongside Goodwood veteran Paula Sutton @hillhousevintage and @francescarowanplowden (who was one of my faves from last years’ ’The Traitors’). An honor to share the stage with them both and so much fun (but slightly stressful as I wanted to crown everyone a winner as the outfits were all so good). Hosted by the amazing @dandywellington who is the ultimate compere with the most and has all the dance moves.
.
.
A treat to catch up with @auctions.meg @bonhamsbags bags, bumped into fellow vintage @frockmevintagefair trader @gingermegsv. It’s quite the community down at this Chichester weekender.
.
.
Oh and not forgetting that there was a feast for the eyes for any petrol head (of which I am one - a sucker for a classic motor me) in terms of amazing classic cars and camper vans and my head was turned by THE most incredible outfits, from every era. Everyone pulls out all the stops.
.
.
And nothing new to see here as I pulled together an outfit consisting of vintage pieces from my wardrobe, ones you’ve all seen before.

It’s that time of year when the changeover happens but not forgetting it’s also #secondhandseptember.
.
.
So I am having an end of season sale over on stories. Multi seasonal pieces - things that can be worn across the year - but also includes some great dresses for those upcoming Christmas events.
.
.
Please don’t hesitate to ask for further details, sizing, photos. I’ll be happy to assist.

The last hurrah……..
.
.
….. before I head off tomorrow to the Royal Horticultural Halls for @frockmevintagefair.
.
.
This is a divine 1980s soft grey lace dress with big collar neck detail by Morton Myles. A joy to wear.
.
.
Morton Myles was a pre-med student before transferring to the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) to study fashion design.
.
.
He started his own business in the 1960s having previously worked with designers Harry Sondheim and Larry Aldrich. Morton gained instant fame and celebrity fashion status in 1961 when one of his dresses was worn by Jacqueline Kennedy on the cover of Look Magazine for a family portrait with President Kennedy and their children (see second slide found via CFDA.com).
.
.
And here you can have your very own fashion moment in one of his later designs.
.
.
Available at @frockmevintagefair TOMORROW (ticket link in my bio) or via DM.

Second dress of the day ……
.
.
Is this amazing Jean Varon 1970s maxi dress. I’ve seen this in a couple of different colour variations but I adore it in this navy with its crochet lace bodice, sheer (but lined and with a slight hint of mauve) full flowing skirt and unique billow sleeves.
.
.
The two dresses today have some similarities with their regal high neck ruffles, remarkable sleevage and full skirts. This one is a larger size than what I usually find too.
.
.
Another statement for sure this one and winging its way to @frockmevintagefair with so many other unique and beautiful pieces.
.
.
If you’d like more information and can’t make the fair, please DM me for all the details on any of the pieces in this edit which are also available to buy via Instagram.

Two amazing statement dresses today.

.
The first one is this vintage accordion pleat number with the biggest sleeves (you all know by now l, for me, the bigger the better and I can’t resist an enormous sleeve). No labels so could be handmade. But it’s SO good!!!! And to think these pleats have stayed put for decades.
.
.
Coming to @frockmevintagefair Stand A14 this Sunday 11-5pm or DM for all the details.
