I am so excited and proud to announce my verbal commitment to play volleyball at Anderson University as a middle!!! First, I praise God who has been with me through every step. I can only do this for Him and by Him. Yet not I, but through Christ in me. Next, I want to thank my family: mom and dad thank you for sacrificing so much for this yet always doing it with a smile. your love and support does not go unnoticed. kyle, thanks for supporting me, and emilie, for being my biggest fan and favorite teammate. I also want to thank my second family, all the many sisters I’ve made through this sport who have helped me along the way. thanks for being there for me in every single way, loving at all times, even through adversity (Proverbs 17:17)! And to my coaches: Coach Dan, thank you for giving me such amazing opportunities and supporting me. Coach Carrol and Coach Dave, thanks for believing in me and pushing me. And to all those I didn’t mention, I love you guys too! Finally, thank you to Coach Hay and Coach Savannah for this amazing opportunity. I am so grateful to be a Trojan! @auvb_trojans

I have had the time of my life with 16 Maverick! National runners up at AAUs and tied for 13th at USAVs, but the season was so much more than that: it’s all about the process! grateful for my girls, TPV, and coach dan and coach sarah for all the many opportunities you have given me. More importantly, I thank God for walking me through this and showering me with blessings all season. Goodbye 16 Maverick, until next season TPV… I’ll see you soon CPA lions! soli deo gloria by @aubriemarkvb27

all I want is more time with you 16 Maverick

So here’s a poem for you:
3 middles, 3 bros, 2 setters, and 4 pins,
I can’t even think of where to begin
starting way back November 21 2024,
was the beginning of a team that I would love like never before
winning MEQs,
hotel meeting rooms,
sleepovers at gwen’s,
and Taylor’s song “Carnival” on end.
4 freshman, 8 sophomores, sarah, and dan
all crammed together playing “Hair Up” in the van
national runner up at AAUs, then dan driving us around,
going to USAVs and top 16 is what we found
so abby, emmy, sarah, gc, taylor and brynn,
elly, maggie, klyne, ava, dan, shaun, and gwen
my family now and forever will be,
promise me that you’ll never forget Proverbs 17:17
“A friend loves at all times and a brother is born for times of adversity”
God has a plan for us girls, never forget it. I’m proud of you and I love you, not because of what you do, but because of who you are. i love you always 16 Maverick
