Last week, at the @wffindustry, the Polish Producers Guild launched its Audience First research program. The pilot research program will develop audience insights throughout the development and pre-production of real films. Each feature film will be supported by @publikum.io (👋 @rikkeflodin), and audience designers (👋 @benjamincoelle and me!). I can’t wait to delve into this “live-lab” and collaborate with these brilliant people, and contribute to something valuable for the entire Polish industry. Applications are open until November 12 🔗 full details link in bio 📸 @wffindustry by @audience.design
A couple of weeks ago I was in Valletta working with TV and film production teams as part of our collaboration with @artscouncilmalta 🎬 We spent hours digging deep: what makes each project stand out, what it’s trying to say, and who’s going to be drawn to it. ‘Internationalisation’ is a big pillar for Arts Council Malta, so we also looked at global appeal, international positioning and the audiences beyond the island. (Not just Gozitans!) From Maltese folktale, to migratory birds, to sci-fi adventures. Well done @nokklaproductions @roughcut.mt @toontuloon @turianimation @motionblur_malta @rupture.mt. We’re rooting for every one of you! And a big thank you to @lyonaxuereb @d.harmsy and team for the initiative, enthusiasm and welcome. Valletta, thank you for the late summer sunshine ☀️ by @audience.design
BLOODY MEN (JÄVLA KARLAR) received its international premiere at @warsaw.film.festival this week - congratulations to @jenschristersjogren @drheinig @breelfilms and the whole team! Based on the hugely popular book by Andrev Walden, BLOODY MEN is about a boy’s love for a mother who tries her best, about all the bloody men who come and go, and about not becoming one yourself 🥸 Distributed by @sfstudios.se, supported by @filmivast by @audience.design
We ❤️ @artscouncilmalta! Big thank you @d.harmsy & @lyonaxuereb for the warm welcome. Will share more soon! 👀 by @audience.design
Mega congrats to team ESTRANGED on their recent @screenaustralia funding. A dream of a team ❤️ Directed by the wonderful @livmartinmcguire, produced by @brooketiasilcoxx of @nothingproductions and @becbaz of @mediastockade A year ago we spent two days discovering every nook of this deeply personal story and I’m so so excited it’s a step closer to, frankly, me watching it. Blending elements of stop-motion, audio recordings and a road-trip, this is one of a kind ✨ 🔗 More details link in bio #AudienceDesign workshop in collaboration with @screenaustralia 2025 by @audience.design

A productive week spent on the @vlaamsaudiovisueelfonds initiative in #AudienceDesign for Flemish films in development. Always lovely to be back in my hometown! A huge congrats to teams L’INVENTION DU SAUVAGE (@fientroch_ @heelisa_ @mirage_be) & ALORS ON DANSE (@pieter.vanhees @dewereldvrede), and THE DEVIL OF THE EQUATOR (@fbo.productions) and BLACK WOLF (@czar.be) 🔥 by @audience.design
TOY GUN BANDIT is headed to @tiff_net Centrepiece! 🔫 I had the pleasure of collaborating with writer/director Rémi St-Michel and producer @jea_pou on the project, both in Development and again in Post-Production. Our #AudienceDesign was able to be re-visited and tweaked to line-up with the version today that audiences will finally get to see and enjoy! Huge congrats to Rémi, Jeanne-Marie and the whole gang. The wonderful @thelatedavidturpin is heading to @tiff_net with ANCESTORS - congrats! Produced by the fine folk @samson_films and @lunatica_films 🌙 I first read David’s beautiful script in 2022, completely mesmerised, and have really enjoyed poking my head in throughout the years. A pleasure supporting @samson_films with its #AudienceDesign. Playing in the Discovery Strand, it features Éanna Hardwicke, @jacktwolfe, @jjessicareynolds, Rupert Everett and @actuallychristinahendricks. Delighted to share I’m collaborating with @artscouncilmalta! 🇲🇹 This October I’ll be working with Maltese production companies on the #AudienceDesign of their feature projects - running workshops to help teams get sharper on who these films are for, and what that means for funders, industry partners, and audiences alike. Really looking forward to getting into the room with these teams and delving deeper into Maltese stories and industry ✨ 🔗 Full details link in bio #MaltaFilm #AudienceDevelopment by @audience.design
Huge congrats to @kimbartleydirector @rachelglysaght @undergroundfilms_ie on LEMONADE’s selection at @tiff_net 🍋🇨🇦 As a fan of Kim’s work, I had the pleasure of supporting Rachel and Kim back in 2024 with some light #AudienceDesign input, and now I’m just as excited as everyone else to see the final film hit the screen! Featuring the wonderful @_lewisbrophy @carlattous @imeldaofficial @eileenwalsh6 and #BarryKeoghan. Co-produced by @rocliffeproductions Exec @wolfcub_productions @screenireland @cnam.ie @wearebreakout @metfilmdistribution #TIFF2026 by @audience.design
For the last few months, I’ve been working on the #AudienceDesign on KANNIBALEN PÅ FÅRÖ, @gustafskarsgard’s much anticipated directorial debut. Penned by @peterbirro and produced by Martin Persson at @anagramsweden, it tells the story of David, a screenwriter who returns to the island where he first met his idol, Ingmar Bergman. The film explores what we’re willing to sacrifice to make great art. We last met in sunny Stockholm in June, pictured here with (L-R) Martin Persson - Producer, Zahra Waldeck - LP, Gustaf Skarsgård - Director ☀️ Distributed by @scanboxentertainmentse and supported by @gotlandsfilmfond @filmivast @swedishfilm 🔗 Read more through link in bio by @audience.design
