I’m taking a headcount for a trip to medieval times (literally) who’s in? 🗡️🥀🎠🏰

I told you guys I wasn’t done with armour inspired nail art!! I think these turned out so cool! I got just the dimension I was looking for, all with regular polish and a few rivet-esque gems.

featuring (contains some pr):
🗡️outlaw country, emo for life @mooncat
🕸️reclaim the mirror by @essie
🖤carbon copy by @crackedpolish

To paint these I started with one coat of Outlaw Country. Then painted a coat of black jelly to mute the polish a bit and add some distance between the base and my details. Then I painted my design with Reclaim The Mirror, and then outlined everything with a mixture of black polish and black jelly polish. I will always love sunlight for my photography, but this design is so clear and looks like real metal in indirect lighting.

My medieval kick is far from over, if you have any suggestions I’d love to hear them!

Happy halloween! 🌜✨

This is my second painting for the #copycatcollab and I painted this classic moon and stars design for @cozyspookynails ✨
#copycatcollabroundfive

I loved painting these!! It felt so nice to just bring out a few polishes and really enjoy the special magnetic effect in the background. I chose to use Bloodbender from @mooncat because of that deep blood red base, and the connection between waterbenders and the moon.
Capturing the whimsy of the man in the moon and the stars was a treat, and I love the vintage aesthetic of the design.

Wishing everyone a spooky and safe halloween! 🌜

It’s November and I need a palette cleanser before I can let go of halloween and move on to the next holiday season 💅

You can’t get more of a blank slate than two coats of pink smoothing base from @holotaco (pr) 💕
My nails have been less stained recently, and I’ve been loving this more sheer and natural ridge filling base. I’m all in on maximalism most of the time, but it’s nice to have a break from that every once in a while.

Death Note x @mooncat launched today! 🍎 • sponsored

What would you do if you found a supernatural notebook that could kill anyone? Would you become a vigilante? Or would you leave justice in the hands of the system?

featuring:
🌇Sunset Over Tokyo
🌧️Mourning Rain
🧞‍♂️Ryuk Was Bored (magnetic)
🍎Gods Of Death Love Apples
🖤God Of The New World (thermal)
✨Sugarfuel Brain Calories
+Mooncat Creme Polishes

I was so excited to see this Mooncat collection on my doorstep!! The packaging details are next level, and each polish so closely matches the original inspiration.
I focused mostly on two polishes for my design, Sunset Over Tokyo and Mourning Rain. I thought it would be so cool to have Light Yagami and L facing off against each other on my nails, from two of the most iconic sequences from the show. The polishes are so glowy and beautiful, the perfect backdrop for the scenes!

Are you a Death Note fan?

There is no holiday better than Halloween!! Here is a mix of new and old spooky designs I’ve painted for the best holiday 🎃🐈‍⬛🕸️🖤🍄👻

I think the best part of halloween nail art is the limitless creativity. With christmas or easter or any other holiday, I feel kind of boxed in. But with halloween you can go spooky, cute, gory, silly, classy. There’s skeletons, pumpkins, and sure, why not, the very hungry caterpillar.

I’d love to see your favourite halloween designs you’ve painted in the comments 👀

Spiders at the picnic 🕷️🕷️🕷️🕷️🥧🧺

For this halloween round of the #copycatcollab I chose to recreate a classic summer picnic design by @mockingbird.nailart with a fall twist! I switched out the ants for spiders, and the watermelon for a nice slice of pumpkin pie. Please go check out the original!!

Mr. Dough and the Egg Princess 🥖🥚👑🏰

This is possibly the most niche thing I’ve ever painted, my target audience might just be me!! For this round of #theghiblinailcollab the theme was #ghiblicreaturenails , and I decided to paint these two characters from a Ghibli short film.

Mr. Dough and the Egg Princess is only officially shown at the Studio Ghibli museum, and at the Studio Ghibli park in Japan. My movie ticket from the theatre is one of my favourite souvenirs from my trip last year.

Mr. Dough and the Egg Princess feels like such a classic fairy tale. There’s a baba yaga who keeps the egg princess as a servant. The little egg runs around cleaning up after the witch, serving her and running the mill at every hour. When Mr. Dough magically comes to life in the baba yaga’s kitchen, the two of them escape together. I wore my rabbit ring to represent the rabbit villagers, and painted the two runaways on their adventure through the kingdom.

Deep in the woods. Under silk webs. A mossy blanket. Two skeletons tangled up together, resting forever.

It’s a spooky season tradition for me at this point to paint my skeletons!! This is my third and favourite iteration. I love the sponged background, everything looks so soft. Like an oil painting. And I like how the skeletons are lying down stretched over three nails.

Happy halloween week!

Medieval nail art inspo 🏰🐉🥀🗡️

If you see any beautiful armour, please send it to me!! Some of those intricately detailed designs are begging to be made into nail art, and I’d love to take another shot at recreating them 🩶

ps: the castle in the middle is by @laurarbenson 🏰

Dragons and castles and roses, oh my! 🏰 🥀🐉

It’s time for the #foundpatternscollab and this time we painted some art based on sci-fi/fantasy. I obviously went the fantasy route ✨
I was inspired by armour, ceramic tiles, and by the work of @laurarbenson 🏰 (swipe to the last slide to see my moodboard)

I’ve been so into this medieval aesthetic recently, happy to take any opportunity to incorporate it into my nails.
