will I get to meet at the next stop?
the face I have missed…
⋆ the scene I used to draw.

We had a vision when we decided to bring the ORV trio together and the way @nevilk.jpg captured them so brilliantly was incredible! He brought each of our character out of the pixelated screen and right in front of us. Jenn and Rynmi portrayed YJH and HSY so perfectly that sometimes I had to turn and do a double take during our session. We’re so happy we get to share the ORV love (and geek out 🤓) with you all. 🖤🤍💙

happy belated orv eng novel release day!! can’t believe orv’s gotten so big in the past few years to the point of seeing merch and books and even a live action (though ik we don’t like to talk about that) out in the real world. it’s taking me a bit to get past dokja kim and the goblins but overall it is very nice 🥲🥲

every human is their own writer ✏️ ORV TRIO part 3 - FINALLY 😭 this post is soooo overdue and I am so excited to post this beautiful set of your fav orv trio ❤️ huge kudos to the ever so talented @nevilk.jpg 🌟 i dont think we will ever be able to stop telling you the talent you have for orv shoots 😂

of course, no set is incomplete without some additional fun outtakes at the end 🤣 i was so shocked when the duo asked to carry me and just knew that this was going to end hilariously @jessicaqwq and @elaine_coooooool thank you for making my dreams come true and also dropping me gently

Honestly this was my first non hoyo cosplay and let me tell you OOOF was this an EYE OPENING EXPERIENCE 👁️ 👁️ I could run, swing my hair, literally jump into the air without a single clink or clank coming from the massive amounts of props i would have worn in a typical hoyo cosplay AND MAN WAS IT REFRESHING 🤯 safe to say that i will definitely be trying out more cos non hoyo in the future (but also no worries, i still have a crippling addiction to surrending myself to the beautiful hoyo design)

Anyways, a huge kudos to the lovely @friedtofu.cos for being the DYNAMITE YJH that i could not stop getting whiplash from double taking your unrecognizable handsome face 🥰 and crazy shoutout to @aurae.cos for not only being THE ICONIC DKJ but also running the whole thing. you had a vision and you hard carry the teammmmmm. thanks for giving me the push i needed to slap on that blue body suit and i am so glad you into orv lmao

alright enough yapping, enjoy the photos (｡•̀ᴗ-)✧

not to mention the gas leak 🔥 🔥 🔥 #sakuracon

in all seriousness, despite the chaos, i still had an amazing time at sakura con this year and at the heart of it, it’s because of the ✨ P E O P L E ✨ the con has a way of bringing in some of the most lovely, kind, and wonderful community and for all the mess they’ve had this year, i still truly love the ✨ F R I E N D S ✨ that i’ve met and made here. i mean, this con was the con that inspired @aurae.cos and me to even start our acc to stay connected and geek out on all the shows, games, music, and books we all love ❤️

so for all the things sakura con does right, i truly hope they can shape up and improve for hopefully many more cons in the years to come 🌸

anyways, enjoy this silly clip from me:

also what kind of music do you think this trio would make 🤔 ngl I feel like it’d either be super depressing or low effort lmao

happy Lunar New Year! 🧧
hope you listen to that little Spark in your heart this year, let it out and light it UP!! 🥳✨

Sparkle has this chaotic cheekiness that makes it hard not to like. she is the quintessential Shakespearean Fool, being the first one to realize the truth around them and trying to guide the others on the right track. personally, I find it fascinating when a character can break the 4th wall and I love her! best wingman ever!

This was my first beach photoshoot and when I asked @costog.gen if it was at all possible to recreate Sparkle’s BiS LC, he was totally up for it! with one box of sparklers and a dream, he cooked with this set & I learned that it’s quite easy to write backwards; the hardest part is to Start.

super big thankiess to Rynmi for assisting & capturing one of the takes! ehe~ I look so silly twirling the letters across the sand but isn’t it insane how you can see more than one Sparkle?!

hello, I have to confess something… I was ready to retire sparkle a few weeks ago. I lost my marbles trying to detangle & restyle the wig. For anyone who has ever worn pigtails, YOU GET ME!! I thought “this must be the reason why sparkle disguises as everyone else.”😭

I thought about abandoning the wig as I stared at my Momo Ayase wig thinking, “I could wear that instead. the color is very similar, I could make it work. I had planned to cos her during aioc but my body was not feeling it, so now’s my chance!” But the INFJ inside of me was like “it’s called hoyoween, you fool” I knew it just wasn’t right 😔

thanks to Rynmi’s words of encouragement, she really gave me the boost I needed to keep going… my inspiration for Hoyoween was puppet master Hanabi!! You might recall of a Penacony LC that has Sparkle in it, despite the fact she can’t even use it 🙄

I got a bit artsy craftsy, I made her top hat with lace & tulle. Replaced the original hair accessories w/ Halloween ribbons. I also made kitsune mask charms but they all had a meltdown in the last moment, so I replaced that w/one of her bells. Ugh they were SO CUTE TOO!! I’m so sad I didn’t even take a pic to document them! next time I need to make triple the extras! 🦊

of course, I can’t forget about the puppet! I tied elastic cords to my mannequin & tied them to a stick to make it look like a marionette. I added magnets to the bottom & top of my cart so it could stand up as if it was on a stage. ngl, it looked rather ghetto, so I wrapped the stick around with red ribbon to keep it very Sparkly✨

one of the highlights of my night was getting to talk with Camden, he was so sweet & patient, literally a ray of sunshine— he took the time to untangle & pose the puppet to have that iconic Aventurine pose in white night before signing!! I shared a little bit about my thought process on my cosplay & he complimented on how creative it is! when asked if he would ever cosplay himself, he smiled, saying he’ll def consider it now! 😊

to tell you the truth, I get lowkey anxious about cos-ing as Sparkle for reasons I won’t list out here, but I felt quite proud of what I had made & everyone was just heartwarming & kind… by @aurae.cos

in true ✨ fashion, Sparkle decides to crash the party 🥳 as Robin, Kafka, and Constance sway to the beat from a timeless classic 😇

when I first watched the annihilation gang trailer, I just KNEW I had to cos Constance the Dahlia! I enjoy a good villain shrouded in mystery and her character design is so clean and timeless *chef’s kiss* I love a good female power suit and it’s fun being able to guess what her path or element might be when she’s playable! I also enjoy when people come up and ask me who the heck I’m cos-ing as because she’s technically never made her physical appearance in game yet!! 🤭

I’d love to cos her again but I feel like she’s by no means perfect and there’s a lot more I can do with her before then. It was my first time wearing a hat and oh boy, does it not listen to me! I have to figure out how to keep it on and how to stop hitting everyone with it! I’ve painted my demon horns with a little pop of misty lavender, so I would love to apply the same color on her tail. When the light hits the right angle, the color comes up soooooo pretty~ And I def want to add shoulder pads and more poof in her sleeves! If anyone has any idea on how to get that POOF or other suggestions, please feel free to share!!! 🥹

I’m sure hoyo has something special planned for her in the near future, there’s no way they release such a spectacular teaser of the gang and leave us hanging like that! I can’t wait!! 😈

“Let’s play hide and seek!” – you found me! made a new acct just to separate and keep organized for cosplay things ✨this was my 2nd time cos-ing as sparkle and made a few touch ups to the wardrobe from the first time, I’m really happy with it 💃🏻

can’t believe AX2024 is now over! this year was such good vibes and it was lovely meeting new friends and making fun memories together! 🥳
