Monday Meeting for Creative Minds Building Brands.® On the agenda: community-washing, co-creation, and consumerism. Have a seat ☕️ Agenda item inspired by @aurelierivkah (from @tresda.institute) at a recent debate session with Global Luxury Brand Management, and Fashion and Lifestyle Business Management students at Pearl Academy in London. Agenda item inspired by @kriticos's recent article with @red.thepeople on "Community is for Communion not for Profit" Brands that do it with excellent taste and thought: @bread @topicals from @olamideaolowe Now analyse your own brand, or let me do it. 💌 by @aurel.ee
I do this for a living so, naturally, I have notes. my community members are executives from your favourite billion-dollar companies in France & honestly, they're cooler than you think. left brain + right brain 🧠 sorry, hun. the less glam side of my job: I spend a lot of my time in Excel sheets and Power BI dashboards if YOU are the reason people come, congratulations you created yourself a cute little cult 🎀 can't hide behind aesthetics and a pretty feed community is a lot about personal development I find meet my members you guys!!! love them ☕️☕️☕️ both are a headache, just pick yours and drink a lot of water I'll write about this in my book Everything hallelujah 💙 by @aurel.ee
find & develop your expertise. observe the market. deliver value. be reliable. by @aurel.ee
I’m in the business of creating things people want – so when I say I’m a strategist with a thing for community, this is what I mean. 🧠 MEETING AGENDA!!! (skip to what you need) 1. find your unique angle (the business girls call this USP) 2. choosing the right venue is more a matter of strategy than aesthetic (AI won’t tell you this) 3. don’t build for yourself, build for your members 4. replace your promotional flyer by this (lead magnet for new members) 5. unhinged tip from your strategist friend (me) who’s into psychology 6. my favourite tip: think long-term for your brand partnerships 7. heart-warming member feedback!!! 8. more on the business side? team: retreat photographer: @melues_photography reach out to her!! founder: @phelinegrawden vision, heart, and soul of this whole retreat concept project lead: @danielamomentumactivator the force behind the management and execution ⚡️ pov: I’m not giving you tips you’ll find on Google or chatgpt, this is lived experience and creative thinking only. how do you make sure this is not just another retreat? let's use my client as a case study: @lephiine 🧚🏾‍♀️ start with solid foundations before anything else. my work as a strategy adviser is to help you identify your brand's unique positioning, identity, pillars, cultural relevance, persona, differentiation, etc. once that's strong, we make every brand experience align to your long-term vision to build something that is coherent, sustainable, recognisable, and that people want to be a part of. for the venue, let's talk spacial design to create emotion and connection. when @phelinegrawden found her venue, she saw the aesthetics (love) but this is what I noticed immediately. intimacy is in the details. build a program that’s community-centric. Phé really wanted to build hers like a flow, rather than a fixed program. I think that's what makes this retreat so unique (more context in my highlights). the art of a brand activation: show don’t tell. my wild card lol (I promise the founder approved the idea!!) in LEPHIINE fashion, this little friendly competition became "Letting Your Inner Child Play" which was a lot more aligned 🤸🏽‍♀️ choose your brand p by @aurel.ee
