POSTS STORIES REELS

I’m excited to announce that I composed the new music for the game Photomaly by Revira Interactive! The horror game is also published by Alibi Games, and the release date is set for July 21st for steam!

It was a blast writing the horror score for this creepy PSX style game where you manage a photo studio while encountering unexpected anomalies!

I can’t wait to share more about the music and the game, but for now, here is the trailer for Photomaly, which I wrote the music for as well! by @austin_blau_

Today we released the single ‘Predation’ from the demo for the upcoming game Rodent Retribution, which I’m composing the music for!

This was such a fun track to write and came from trial and error of making the track fit within the confines of the game!

The game is still being worked on, but the single is available on all streaming platforms!

Also, this @schecterguitarsofficial Black Ops 8 String has been a killer new edition!

Titan - Austin Blau (Drum Playthrough)

It’s such a blast being able to play my own tracks I wrote with programmed drums a while back!

Playing over my track Night City always allows me to try new ideas for every take! It’s like a brainstorming session on the kit. It also really shows how much a live performance can change the feel of a track, even more than programming the drums. So if anyone needs a drumming live performance on an e kit for their tracks, let me know!

This LA trip and GameSoundCon has been such a treat! So many shows, meet ups with friends, and making new friends as well. It’s always a blast coming back to the west coast every year, and I’m excited and inspired for the year ahead! Thank you to everyone for some solid chats and wonderful memories! by @austin_blau_

I had to privilege to write the music for the new game Catomi, and the demo for the game just released today!! We have one version of the track implemented in the demo, but there are multiple versions for the full release still in the works! Getting to play some live e kit drums on the track was needed for sure!

This track “Even Death May Die” has always been so much fun to play! Even when I recorded it for the @binarycodeofficial album Momento Mori, it went by in a breeze, and was a blast!

I was happily asked by two good friends @alexzvuv and @derrickschneider1 to play drums on the new @perfectshadowsband track Tempting Fate! Thought it would be best to do a short playthrough clip!

Planar Travel 101 released today! It’s our new single we’ve been working on based on a story of an adventure through the different planes in the DnD universe. It’s streaming on all platforms today!

I got to compose the music for Photomaly which was developed by @revirainteractive ! So I thought it would be fun to play some drums over the ending of the last track of the soundtrack and the game called:

Shutter (Ending) [REDACTED] Version!

This is my track Proxy that I wanted to try drumming over!

Photomaly releases today with over 60k wishlists on steam!!

I had the pleasure of composing the music for the full release! It was such a blast writing some eerie horror music for the game and trailer!

I also ended up doing the VO for the launch trailer, with the worst possible transatlantic accent you’ve ever heard, but I think it works well enough!

Thank you to @revirainteractive and Alibi Games for bringing me onto the project!

The soundtrack is also out now! It’s very short, but still feels great to have it released! by @austin_blau_
