POSTS STORIES REELS

there’s something in me that longs to be a mother someday.
not out of pressure, not out of expectation—but out of love. a deep, quiet kind of love that feels placed in my heart by Jesus for a reason.
spent this week with my niece, and i couldn’t stop looking at her. the way she moves, the way she smiles… it felt like looking at a tiny reflection of myself. it made something in me soften.
so many people talk about children like they’re a burden, something that takes away from your life. but i don’t see it that way at all. i see them as a gift. as purpose. as little lives entrusted to us by God—tiny hearts He knows so deeply and loves even more than we ever could.
being with her reminded me of how gentle and intentional Jesus is… how He cares about the smallest details, how He forms life with such beauty and meaning. it made me reflect on the kind of love He has for us—pure, patient, and constant.
it’s crazy how someone so small can make you feel something so big.
i don’t think motherhood is something to fear. i think it’s something sacred. something beautiful. a calling that reflects the love of Christ in such a real way. something i’ll hold close to my heart and pray over until it’s my time.
until then, i’ll keep loving on the little ones around me, walking with Jesus, and thanking Him for these glimpses of what’s to come. by @authenicallykam

a lot of people think i’m crazy and weird and question why i take my health so serious. people think im weird for not eating the same way i used to, use medication as the very last resort instead of the first, eat from the earth and not consume processed foods/chemically enriched foods, want to live on a farm and homestead, take the holistic approach, and for not wanting to slather chemicals on my body or allow them to enter my body.
i was on birth control for 7 years and one day decided to stop, not knowing that my decision to do that would change my life in such a drastic way. i had never dealt with acne, maybe one or two pimples here and there but never like this. this was the lowest i had ever been before, my self confidence was at an all time low and i just wanted to give up. i tried to do everything on my own for so long, at this point i did not know what else to do. i was truly broken and this is when God came in and wrapped me with His loving arms. i fell to my knees and just cried to Him in my college apartment room. this quote gets me every single time “in my deepest wound, i saw your Glory and it astounded me.” getting off of birth control caused so much pain, but God turned it all around for good. He used all that pain and all my tears so i can help others who have gone through and are going through this and just spread His love all around. there’s so much correlation in what we allow in and on our temples. a lot of what we eat, the medication we take, and the toxic chemicals we use in our day to day lives are causing us to be sick and have hormone imbalances in our bodies. God equipped us with everything we needed, but we go and make junk to put in our bodies.
with all this said, i’m here to tell you, it does get better. my body is still taking time to get all of those synthetic hormones out, but give your body grace, it takes time to heal the right way. i serve a God that sent His one and only perfect and sinless son to take my place on the cross. it’s either Jesus or this world, you have to choose one. allow God to use you. He transformed my life, i know He will do the same for you. trust Him. God is so good, i love yall. by @authenicallykam
