🌿 Why Gestalt Therapy? 🌿

Have you ever felt trapped in patterns that no longer serve you, yet breaking free feels impossible?

Becoming a Gestalt therapist wasn’t just a career choice—it was a deeply personal journey.

For much of my life, I found myself stuck in patterns I didn’t fully understand, especially in relationships. I craved deep connections but often lost myself, mistaking self-sacrifice for love. I prioritized others’ needs over my own, not realizing I was caught in a cycle I couldn’t yet see.

My healing began the day I stepped into therapy back in 2017. What started as a way to ease my struggles became a profound journey of self-discovery. I learned to slow down, to listen to my voice, and to acknowledge the parts of me I had long ignored. I began to understand my emotions, my patterns, and how I unconsciously shaped my relationships.

And then, something shifted. Healing was no longer just about me—it became a calling.

I still remember the moment it clicked. My therapist, who had watched me grow, looked at me with a knowing smile and said: “Have you ever thought about studying Gestalt? You’re already walking this path—you just don’t see it yet.”

That thought stayed with me. As I explored Gestalt therapy, I felt an instant connection. It wasn’t about labeling or fixing—it was about experiencing, about being fully present, about uncovering deeper truths with curiosity and compassion.

Gestalt therapy transformed my life by giving me the space to truly meet myself. It taught me that healing is about embracing the present with honesty and self-acceptance.

✨This is why I do this work.

Because I know what it’s like to feel disconnected from yourself.
Because I know how powerful it is to be truly seen and heard. Because I believe that with the right space and support, we all have the capacity to reconnect with who we truly are.

✨If you’re curious about Gestalt therapy or wondering how it could support you, I’d love to hear from you. 💛

Walked the #Camino de Santiago, in #Spain, for the first time this May! (Note: @authentic.path.psy has walked it several times before - Two times to completion)

We walked from San Sebastian to Bilbao, around 120 kilometers! We wanted to walk longer, but had to stop when the temperatures hit 35 degrees and above. So the second week of the trip became a good old fashioned vacation by the pool, in Noja.

It was a cool experience to put everything aside for a week and just walk - Seeing the beautiful landscapes, meeting other pilgrims, living in albergues (also a monastery!) and just be present.

And the biggest miracle of all: No blisters!

Went to Lithuania last weekend - Without my camera, which has unfortunately died on me after 14 years, so I had to make do with my phone... Walked around Vilnius on Street Music Day, celebrated my birthday, looked at a castle in Trakai, and ate a lot of potato-based dishes.

How facing my biggest fear started my First Camino journey.

In 2017, I was breaking out of a codependent relationship. I had never traveled alone before.
The thought of being alone, without anyone to rely on, was terrifying.
But something in me knew I needed to do this. I needed to meet myself again.
The Camino de Santiago had been a dream of mine for years.
A spiritual path, a journey inward.
I didn't feel ready, not even close, but I bought the ticket anyway.
I landed in Barcelona with a heavy backpack, worn-out sneakers, and even heavier fears.
I spent the night in the airport, sleepless.
In the morning, I arrived in Irun. Panic crept in again.
I clung to a Spanish couple who needed their space.
Eventually, they asked to walk alone. I had no choice but to walk solo.
That evening, alone in a forest with my battery dying, I didn't know where to sleep.
I felt utterly lost… until I met strangers walking their dogs.
I asked about the Albergue, and they smiled and said:
"It's just around the corner."
And when I got there…
I was told I got the last bed!
That moment changed something in me.
The fear didn't vanish, but it got quieter.
And I began to believe that maybe… just maybe…
The world can catch you when you let go.

Three Caminos, One Heart, Countless Stories.

When I first started the Camino, I was full of fear and uncertainty, not realizing it would become one of the greatest adventures of my life. Each journey was unique, each taught me something priceless about trust, courage, love, and self-discovery.
Now, I'm ready to share these stories with you—honestly, openly, and from my heart. I hope they inspire you to take your own first step, wherever your path leads. 🌿
Let’s walk together—step by step, story by story.

The Silent Leakages of the Soul

We often seek balance by adding more—more self-care, more movement, more mindfulness. We convince ourselves that if we do enough, we will finally feel whole.

But what if the real question isn’t how much you recharge, but where your energy is silently slipping away?

💭 You may practice yoga every morning, but if your relationships leave you feeling unseen and unheard, your inner peace will continue to unravel.

💭 You may surround yourself with beauty, art, and inspiration, but if unprocessed grief lingers within, joy will always feel just out of reach.

💭 You may dedicate yourself to personal growth, yet if you keep saying “yes” when your soul is quietly pleading “no,” your strength will be depleted before it ever reaches you.

True well-being isn’t just about what you cultivate—it’s also about what you release. Sometimes, healing isn’t found in adding more but in letting go of what drains you.

So instead of asking, “How can I feel better?”, ask yourself:
“What in my life is quietly taking more than it gives?”

Listen carefully. The answer is already there. 🌿

The Heart of Therapy: Healing Through Relationship 💛

In recent sessions, I have been reflecting on the feedback I’ve received from clients. Many have expressed that the therapeutic relationship had the most significant impact, beyond techniques and interventions. They described it as a space where they felt seen, heard, and accepted without judgment.

✨ One client shared that she experienced the freedom to be herself during our sessions, describing them as a rare opportunity to let go of her mask. She valued the unconditional acceptance she received, which she feels is often lacking in her other relationships.

✨ Another client mentioned the attentiveness, warmth, and equality she experienced in our work together. She appreciated the flexibility and mutual respect that allowed her to feel safe and supported.

Of course, therapy offers insights, tools, and structured exercises—empty chair work, emotional journaling, and profound reflections—but at the core, healing happens in relationships. In safe, authentic connections, we can begin to repair what was once broken.

It is often said: "What was wounded in a relationship can only be healed in a relationship." And time and time again, I witness this truth in my work.

Have you ever experienced the power of feeling truly seen? 💫

✨ A New Chapter Begins! 🎉 ✨

The other day, a groupmate accidentally wished me a happy birthday. I smiled and replied, “It’s too early! Are you sure that’s for me?”

But then I thought—maybe it’s not so accidental after all. Just a few days ago, my website went live, and honestly? It does feel like a kind of birthday. A long-awaited moment, a new beginning.
