A little news about Necromance! Necromance is getting a new cover to match Deathlust!!! Since Deathlust is an interconnected standalone following Willow and Death (first appearing in the Necromance Christmas Novella), and set in the same “world” as Necromance, I thought it was the perfect time to give Necromance a new cover! 🤗🖤 TBH, the original Necromance cover was never meant to be the permanent one and I just couldn’t figure out what I wanted 😅 (also I hate when books from the same world don’t match lol) So, the new cover will go live at the end of October on Amazon. Barnes & Noble will still have the old covers and the new one (because Amazon only allows one variation of the cover 🫩) #gothicromance #paranormalromance #bookrecs #romancebook by @authorcoraraven

Deathlust Teaser 🤗 Yes, this is set in 1915. Yes, I took liberties with Jack the Ripper for the plot 😏 The real “From Hell” letter is in the book too! (Again, I took liberties and sent it to Willow 😁) The newspaper article is from the book! I redacted a few spoilers in case you haven’t read Necromance & A Christmas Haunting (also, go read them!) Currently, @authorlindseywillingham & some of my betas have Deathlust, so I’m kind of on a little break (yay me!) I am working on some art of Death & Willow though, and so far, it looks really good! 🔥 I will still need to do a final round of edits, make a decision on an epilogue (I’m debating something I can’t say lol), AND THEN ARCS CAN GO OUT! 🤗 So close!! by @authorcoraraven

Frankenstein, but she’s his morbid little monster… basically. Frankenstein, but the plants are toxic. Frankenstein, but why is the butler so strange? Frankenstein, but the housekeeper is the sweetest old lady who just wants to make sure everyone is getting their nutrients! Frankenstein, but the house is haunted. #gothicromance #bookrec #falltbr #frankenstein #gothichorror by @authorcoraraven
Teasers 😘 (the last slide is from a scene I cut but promptly put back in the following day. You’re welcome. Trust me 🫦) #paranormalromance #gothicromance #romantasy #bookrec #bookteaser by @authorcoraraven
“What you are about to read may confirm all your worst suspicions about me. You may decide, quite reasonably, that I am beyond saving. That I am a woman possessed. A woman haunted. But before you cast judgment… remember, Mr. Poe also said: “Tell me every terrible thing you ever did—and let me love you anyway.” —L Lucy remains a big piece of my heart as Once Upon a Midnight Dreary embodies the essence of a classic Gothic Romance that I adore so much. In my early 20s, I was diagnosed with Bipolar disorder, and promptly fell into a two year long battle trying to manage my symptoms and deal with frequent psychosis. A lot of Lucy’s bouts of “madness” are based on some of my own experiences (and some of her not-so-rational reactions and actions as well.) During a particularly rough stretch, I started reading gothic literature again, pretty obsessively. A few months later, I decided I could never let the genre die out and enrolled in college with the idea that I wanted to be a writer. The rest is history 🖤🐦‍⬛ #gothicromance #gothicliterature #edgarallanpoe #bookstoread #falltbr by @authorcoraraven

I stared up at him, the question tumbling from my lips before I even considered whether I wanted to know the answer. “Why did you do it? Why did you even give me your essence?” His mouth curved, his thumb tracing the line of my jaw with a gentleness that sent sparks simmering beneath my flesh. “Why else, little ghost?” he said softly. “I am selfish and wished to keep you.” 🥹👻 Deathlust is on Goodreads! You can add it now and read the synopsis 🤗🖤 #gothicromance #paranormalromance #tbrlist #romantasy #bookrecommendation by @authorcoraraven
