With the first paperback ARCs of HALO OF FIRE arriving in readers’ hands all over the world today, I figured it was probably time to introduce you to the main characters.

I’ve been keeping so many secrets about this world, but now that readers are finally entering the Kingdom of Nimbus, I can’t wait for you to meet the characters who are about to make you love them before they destroy you emotionally.

Meet Zaiya and Creed, the leads of my upcoming high-stakes dystopian romantasy, HALO OF FIRE. ❤️‍🔥

In the Kingdom of Nimbus, their hierarchy is simple: the hotter your fire, the higher your status.

🔥📚 MY FIRST EVER PHYSICAL ARC HAS ARRIVED!! 📚🔥

I genuinely don’t think I’ve stopped smiling since this arrived in the post! 🥹❤️‍🔥

I’ve been lucky enough to do ARC reads for Ever King before, and let me tell you, she is AMAZING! So when this little beauty arrived, I was beyond excited. But receiving my very first physical ARC? That’s a whole new level of bookish excitement! 🤎📖

Now, let me tell you a little about Halo of Fire… 👀🔥

A dystopian romantasy where the hotter your fire, the higher your status, and a woman born into the lowest ranks manifests a rare blue halo powerful enough to outrank the king himself. Her choices? Become a knight or die. ⚔️🔥

And with forbidden knight x apprentice romance, enemies to lovers, forced proximity, a masked MMC, a slow burn AND he falls first?! I AM SO READY. 🫠❤️‍🔥

If you know me, you know these tropes have me in a chokehold already. And if it’s anything like what I’m hoping for, I have a feeling this one is going to be GOOD! 👀

A huge thank you to Ever King for sending me this copy and letting me be part of this book’s journey. It genuinely means so much to me! 🥹🤎

✨ ARC review coming soon! ✨

Have you heard of Halo of Fire yet, and which of these tropes would make you pick it up immediately? 👇🏻🔥

Thank you all so much for the incredible love you’ve been showing HALO OF FIRE. ❤️‍🔥

I still can't believe we’ve received over 1,100 ARC applications for this story. I’m so excited to share this new world with you.

To everyone who applied for an ARC: THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

The first round of approvals is for paperback ARCs, and there are a very limited number available, so only a small group of applicants have been selected for this round.

eARCs will be sent closer to release, and if you’ve already submitted an ARC application, you do not need to apply again. Your application will automatically be considered for an eARC when that round begins.

Thank you again for all of your excitement for this new story. I seriously cannot wait for you to enter the world of Halo of Fire and meet the characters. ❤️‍🔥🔥 by @authoreverking
