The 2026 ESWC Summer Writing Contest! This summers competition was fierce but fruitful. Thank you to all the contestants and families for attending the Awards Presentation at Cinco Ranch Library.

Thank you to our 2026 Judges who made this contest possible with their experience. Also, a big thank you to New York Times Bestselling Authors: Jennifer Nielsen, James Ponti, and Mac Barnett for congratulating the amazing young writers of our community.

We appreciate @zirimpublishing, the official sponsor of ESWC. As well as our donors whose contributions made a $25 gift card for each finalist a reality.

ESWC 2026 was GREAT! Can't wait for next year!

Thank you @alief_proud for giving me the privilege to speak at the 2026 Teachers of the Year Ceremony. I was so fulfilled seeing my former teachers again, honoring my schools, and celebrating the highly esteemed teachers of Alief ISD!

I had a great time at Miller Intermediate PVAA for their X-STREAM Night! The event was packed with young brilliant minds and it was meaningful talking with them about writing, story-making, and word building. I can’t wait for next year! @alief_proud

It was a privilege and honor to give the keynote address at the Alief Heflin Elementary NEHS Induction Ceremony last week Thursday. And although my first elementary school looks different... the excellence of the Heflin Hounds still shines bright! Thank you for the opportunity. @alief_proud #aliefisd #aliefproud by @authornwabuko

INSURGENCE is OUT NOW! I'm so excited to announce the release of my second novel and second installment of the Crystals Saga, The Crystals of Existence: Insurgence.

This story follows Hua on an adventure across China to save the world from the reign of evil. You can pick it up on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, anywhere else online. (P.S. Google is messing it up, it'll be fixed)
