POSTS STORIES REELS

Welcome officially to Umberland—an island nation found off the coast of Washington State.

9 cities. 7 founding families. All Black AF.

The one rule? Umberland always remembers its own. Who is of Umberland always returns.

So now that you’ve found yourself here…

Good luck leaving. 😈 by @authorshenayesuggs

Hi. It’s me. Again. Thought I might re-introduce myself.

35. Virgo. Currently residing in a state that feels like the devil’s ass crack. Send help.

I like dark things. I like weird things. I ask a lot of questions. My favorite? “Isn’t it interesting?” 😂

I always have a song playing in my head (The Weeknd’s Trilogy album currently won’t leave me alone). I often crave nostalgic meals from my childhood but with a twist. Oh, and I love dark liquor… specifically rum and whiskey. 😈

I’m experiencing with my style and I find I’m a mix of things: alt, gothic, a lil dark academia, but comfy and baggy (tight when I want it which is raaaare), a lil streetwear, and a mixed bag of emotions.

It’s nearly impossible to categorize what I write but I’ll say it this way. Black love is ALWAYS the center. It’s sometimes gothic in aesthetic but always in lit. Often speculative. Definitely fantasy and/or paranormal, you take your pick. And immersive as fuck.

I write until the characters are finished. Consider me the secretary of my world (hello Umberland) and not the god of it.

I do things a lil different but if you’re down for the ride, you’re in for a time.

Welcome to my corner of the internet. Pull up a chair. You might not wanna leave.

Now since I’ve shared so much about me, it’s only fair I learn something about you. Drop a fun fact or two. Tell me something gooooodt. by @authorshenayesuggs

Love Like Honey Presents

Deep End | Book 3

How deep do the secrets go? Deep enough to bury the truth, but eventually, everything floats to the surface. In the Deep End, the question is: who can you really trust?

You meet her first in book 2 of the Love Like Honey series aka Sand Castles but we really gon see her in book 3 aka Deep End.

Gon head and swipe through. Meet the woman who birthed my first FMC ever. 🤭 by @authorshenayesuggs
