Hey heyyyyyy bookish friends!

Here's a peek into who I am and what you can expect from my books.

My favorite thing about this space is the connection - developing real friendships with fellow book lovers. I love writing relatable romance and characters with depth and growth, because it makes my day when a reader tells me they connected with one of my books or characters in a personal way. That's what writing is all about for me (and, of course, all the swoon 🥰).

I'm so happy you're here, and I'm excited to connect more! Tell me something about YOU in the comments!! by @authortracybaack

An introductory guide to my books so you know exactly where you might want to start reading.

If you've already read any of my books, where did YOU start?

If you haven't yet, where do you think you might begin based on this guide?

The Kansas City Crowns starts with Home Safe, followed by Run Home. These books flirt with the line between contemporary romance and women's fiction.

Dual POV

Read the Author's Notes at the beginning for content considerations surrounding the foster care system and childhood trauma.

My debut novel, Love and Other Goals, kicked off this series that follows three best friends. This is my series that has Christian faith themes included in the characters and storylines.

All three books are written in single POV.

CHRISTMAS!!!! I love love LOVE Christmas, but I also really love character development and relatable romance, so these stories aren't confined to December. These still have a lot of depth but are the most lighthearted of my books.

Dual POV with the best animal sidekicks ever.

Things ALL my books have in common. Although they vary in precise content and vibes, they're all very much my writing style voice. I like to dive deep into who my characters are and follow their lead as I'm writing to take them toward their best growth by the end. You'll see that reflected across all the series and any future books I write! by @authortracybaack

I'm trying to settle on an OFFICIAL official author tagline, and I'm talking myself in circles. Swipe through the options and then vote or give me other thoughts in the comments!!

The phrase "Relatable Romance" is non-negotiable. But otherwise I want a concise way to communicate that the stories have emotional depth that will make you FEEL while reading.

November = CHRISTMAS SEASON BEGINS 💚❤️

Christmas season has my whole heart, which means the Baack household gets in the spirit as soon as the calendar hits November (anyone else??).

What better way to celebrate than with Christmas romances?! The holiday season is too short to put off your Christmas tbr 😉

I have two Christmas romances for you in the same small-town series with alyear-long storylines but Christmas woven all the way through:
💚 Saved by Noel - grumpy × sunshine
❤️ Joy to Noel - forced proximity

If you've read them, which one was your fav??

Coming 2027 by @authortracybaack

Writing my favorite season 🍂

If you've read my intro post, you know that fall is my favorite season while Christmas is my favorite time of year.

My account is about to be featuring a lot more Christmas book content, so I wanted to give one final appreciation to my favorite season featuring photos from my morning walk earlier this week 🍁

Although the timelines of the books span several months, all three books in my Love and Other... series feature a fall festival because it gave me an excuse to write my favorite season.

Q: What's your favorite season?? by @authortracybaack

Choose wisely.

Inspired by every single trash commercial the USA has been subjected to for the entire month of October 🙄

IF YOU'RE CHOOSING DEVASTATION find Run Home on audio, paperback, ebook, and kindle+ by @authortracybaack

You knew Ragey Tracy would return with more thoughts.

Kindle+...sigh.
I actually kept this very civil.

I'm emphasizing again that EVERYTHING IS SPECULATION BECAUSE THEY'VE TOLD US NO SOLID FINANCIAL INFORMATION. Just to be clear.

We're already competing with thousands of a i generated slop ebooks flooding the Amazon market. Now our real, hard-fought, written-from-our-human-hearts ebooks will also be competing against a i "voiced" audiobooks for payouts. 🚮

Maybe I'll wind up being proven grossly wrong. I hope so.

Long story short: Readers, if you like having indie ebooks available to read in kindle+, please don't listen to the virtual voice audiobooks through kindle-.

Narrators, I ride at dawn for you.

The end (let's be honest probs not) by @authortracybaack

Are you a chronic overthinker?

You might have a lot in common with Danae.

Walk with her as she learns to give her heart a voice too.

Initial thoughts from an indie author re: kindle+

Disclaimers:
1. I'm cynical and I know it
2. I loathe gen A I in creative spaces with every atom of my being
3. It's quite possible I said some things that may wind up not being true bc we are all VERY CONFUSED
4. I'm not telling readers they can't be excited about this new service. I'm not telling anyone to cancel their Kindle+ subscriptions. My ebooks are still enrolled for now. I just think the zon is doing the same sus money grabbing things that they've been doing ever since Gen A I content took off. Give me a tin foil conspiracy theorist hat for this one - I accept.
5. I didn't mention this in the video, but I feel like this is possibly an even bigger blow to human narrators than it is to human authors. Time will tell.

In conclusion, please go out of your way to support human artists in every way you can 🫶🏻 My human narrators are incredible and worth every penny I paid them bc they are HUMANS bringing HUMAN emotion to my fictional characters who I honestly feel might be real humans out in the world somewhere 🙃 by @authortracybaack
