We are very excited to be stocking & selling The Piano Music of Emahoy Tsege Mariam Gebru book published by Ningen Paper Press. Autumn Records is the exclusive seller in New England USA. This is an expanded edition of the original 2018 publication. Alongside the 16 pieces featured in Éthiopiques Series 21, it documents the Emahoy Music Foundation’s archive, including photographs, drawings, and handwritten letters from her life. The book also includes editorial notes based on research into her life and work, offering an opportunity to encounter Emahoy the musician while taking a closer look at the life of a nun who passed away at the age of 99. Stop by the shop or head to our website now to buy a copy! by @autumnrecordsvt

Long before streaming services, or podcasts, there was Tellus—a radically ambitious publication that imagined recorded sound as an exhibition space. Founded in 1983 in downtown New York, Tellus transformed the humble audio cassette into a magazine, commissioning and publishing new works by musicians, composers, visual artists, poets, writers, choreographers, and performers who were reshaping the boundaries of contemporary art.

More than forty years later, Earth Libraries proudly presents TELLUS: The Audio Cassette Magazine Anthology, Vol. 1, the first comprehensive anthology devoted to the groundbreaking publication. Join us on November 20th for a record listening event and an exclusive screening of the Tellus short-documentary. Hear the record in full for the first time and get a free poster! by @autumnrecordsvt
