Honored doesn’t even begin to describe it!! Thank you so much @bridalguide for featuring our wedding in the Winter 2026 print issue! When I was 11 years old, I would go to the grocery store with my mom to buy Bridal Guide, flipping through the pages and dreaming about the day I would plan my own wedding. To now see our wedding in the very same magazine I used to sit and look through with her feels so surreal. I know people often say their wedding was the best day of their lives, but for us, it truly was. I married the love of my life, surrounded by the people we love most, and the love in the room was something you could feel throughout the entire day. There were tears, laughter, and so many beautiful, unfiltered moments that made the day feel so genuinely us. I felt my mom with me every step of the way. She taught me so much about hosting, bringing people together, and, most importantly, making people feel at home. More than anything, I wanted our wedding to feel as though our guests were walking into our home, welcomed with open arms, good food, thoughtful details, and the people who mean the most to us. It was one of the most meaningful ways I could carry a piece of her with me that day. I’m so grateful to @meganmccarty for telling our story so thoughtfully, especially the meaning behind the details and the ways we honored my mom and our families. I don’t have enough words to express my gratitude to our incredible team of vendors. As a planner myself, working alongside so many talented people felt less like working with vendors and more like being surrounded by family. You went above and beyond for AJ and me, pouring so much love and care into every detail and giving me the greatest gift of all: the ability to step away from being the planner, be fully present, and simply be a bride. Thank you will never feel like enough. To have this little piece of our wedding preserved in a magazine I grew up loving is something I will never take for granted. And it would not have been possible without the amazing team of @ingoodcompanypr @carly_igcpr 🤍 The Winter Issue of Bridal Guide is now on newsstands! — Full vendor credits in comments! My heart is broken. We lost my beautiful mother after a short and courageous battle with cancer. She was my everything: my best friend, my teacher, my mentor in faith, my healer, my source of strength, my cheerleader, and my guiding light. I don’t know how I will navigate this world without her guidance, without our thousand daily phone calls, and without the strength she always gave me. Everything I am is because of my mom. To lose her is to lose a part of myself. Our family shared an unbreakable bond and my mom was the glue that held us all together. To know her was to love her. She had the most generous spirit and the biggest heart. She put everyone before herself and had a way of making everyone she met feel like part of the family. She inspired me in everything I have ever done and was the inspiration behind starting Fallon & Ava. Her influence is rooted into every part of my life, and I know she will continue to guide me in all that I do. Everything I see, every milestone I reach, every step I take will remind me of her. Losing her while planning my wedding is a pain beyond words… but I know she will be with me, in the big moments of my life and in all the small moments in between. I find comfort knowing she is reunited with her own mother in heaven, and I hold on to the promise that one day I will be with her again. She devoted her life to being a wife and a mother, and I will forever be grateful for the amazing life she gave us. My mother’s faith was strong and unwavering, and through her I learned how transformative faith can be. She would often remind me that God doesn’t measure us by money, careers, or accomplishments, but by the person we are and the way we treat others. The best way I know to honor her is to live like she did, to live with the same kindness, generosity, and selflessness that she showed every day. I want to love as she loved, to be a wife as devoted as she was, and one day, to be the kind of mother she was to me. She was an angel on earth, and now she is truly an angel in heaven. My guardian angel forever. I love you forever mom 🪽 by @avakingferraro

The glam!! 🤍 There are truly no words for how much I adore @erickinvisible and @sophia.vallejos I’ve had the pleasure of working with them both for years, from personal events and shoots to countless @fallonandava campaigns. From the very first time I worked with each of them, I knew I wanted them to do my hair and makeup for my wedding. I knew they would make me look and feel my absolute best, but just as importantly, I knew they would bring such a fun, calm, and beautiful energy to the morning. They have become like family to me over the years, and I couldn’t imagine getting ready with anyone else. I chose to spend the morning getting ready with just Fallon @fallon_king and it was everything I could have wanted. Just two sisters, laughing, having fun, and getting ready together for one of the most special days of my life. It was such a simple, intimate morning, and one I will cherish forever. I’m obsessed with my looks, and I’m obsessed with Erickson and Sophia. That’s it. That’s the post!! Hair Stylist @erickinvisible

05.02.26 | The Dress - Emilia Wickstead @emiliawicksteadbridal Before I was even engaged, I knew I wanted to wear Emilia Wickstead. I’ve always loved the way her designs feel so refined, feminine, and timeless. I tried on other dresses, but nothing quite clicked. In the back of my mind, I knew I was waiting for my appointment at Emilia Wickstead’s only New York City trunk show of the year. The first dress I tried on was the one. I immediately started crying, which I had always thought was a bit of a myth until it happened to me. Suddenly, I could picture myself walking down the aisle, with AJ seeing me in my dress for the very first time. I knew exactly how I wanted to feel that day, and this dress made it all feel real. Not long after my fitting, I had the opportunity to meet Emilia at an event. I told her I had chosen one of her gowns, and she was every bit as lovely as I could have imagined. It made wearing her design feel even more special. I wanted something timeless and elegant, but still entirely me. Something I would look back on decades from now and love just as much as I do today. The moment I put it on, I knew. And then we partied!! After dinner, we brought everyone up to the second floor for dessert, dancing, and a little friendly backgammon competition! Thank you to @crisloid for creating our custom backgammon board! @onthemoveevents kept the dance floor packed all night long, and our first dance to “Everything” by Michael Bublé couldn’t have been more perfect. As if the night couldn’t get any better, our dear friend Dirk Ziff surprised us with a performance that turned the dance floor into a full-blown concert! I also wanted to find a way to incorporate @fallonandava into our wedding, so we had our amazing and beautiful female vocalists wear our black sleeveless turtlenecks as guests entered the dance floor!! The best people, the best music, and a night we wish we could relive all over again. The night I met my husband, I was wearing a turtleneck. In his wedding speech, he shared that he turned to his friend and said, “That girl in the turtleneck is very attractive. I want to speak with her.” And while turtlenecks are undeniably sexy, I think there’s something even more powerful about wearing something that makes you feel confident in your own skin. For us, that’s always been the beauty of a great turtleneck. It’s what you wear on a first date, to the bar, to an interview, or anywhere you want to feel like the best version of yourself. You never know where wearing what makes you feel good might lead you. — Ava, Co-Founder of Fallon & Ava by @avakingferraro
This is an emotional post for me, but also one of the most beautiful to share. 🤍 Planning our wedding without my mom was something I never imagined I would have to do. It was one of the hardest things in the world because I know she would have loved this day more than almost anyone. I wanted to honor my mom in every way I could, choosing details that felt true to our relationship and allowed me to carry her with me throughout the day. Each one held a special meaning, and together, they made me feel like she was a part of every moment. It was equally important to AJ and me that we honor his dad, who also passed away from cancer more than 15 years ago. We wanted both of them to be a part of our wedding in ways that felt personal and meaningful to each of us, and to our families. How we honored our parents at our wedding: Bouquet Lockets A photo of my mom on her wedding day and one of us together, carried close to me. 05.01.26 | The Welcome Party | A+A We kicked off our wedding weekend at @opto.nyc the incredible restaurant owned by our dear friend @alex.tubero !! It was the perfect first night. A beautiful restaurant, incredible food, and all of our favorite people together in one room. The evening was fun, relaxed, and full of so much love.
