Thank you Lord for this amazing last year of camp that you have blessed me with:)This past week, I’ve grown so much in wisdom and have learned how to truly encounter the Lord in prayer. Philippians 4:6-7 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” I especially want to speak to those of you who go to camp, feel the Holy Spirit so strongly, and then get home and feel like that presence is suddenly gone. I’ve been there. But let me encourage you , the same God who met you at camp is still with you at home. His presence doesn’t disappear we just have to keep choosing Him daily. passion is a choice not something that comes without effort. If your faith starts to feel distant, or you feel like God isn’t close anymore, this truth is a good reminder Hebrews 4:15 “For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin.” Jesus understands us. He’s been where we are, and He’s not far. Keep seeking Him. Even when the emotions fade, His presence remains. 💙 by @avenburgin
