Proverbs 17:17 — “A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.” 🤍

I don’t think there will ever be enough words to describe what this season meant to me.

Some seasons change you forever, and this will always be one of them. Closing this chapter with 17 Paragon is so hard because this team became so much more than volleyball. God took eleven girls from different backgrounds and stories and knitted our hearts together into one family. He was building something so much bigger than any of us could see.

Finishing 5th in the nation is something I’ll always be proud of, but it isn’t what I’ll remember most. I’ll remember the people God used to change my life, the friendships He built, and the memories we’ll carry with us long after this season ends.

Thank you, Isaac, for believing in us, leading us with purpose, and helping us become better players and even better people. And to my girls, thank you for loving me so well and showing me what Christ-like friendship truly looks like. You became the sisters I never knew I needed.

Thank You, Jesus, for every lesson, every challenge, every victory, every tear, and every blessing. Thank You for reminding me that the greatest gifts aren’t trophies—they’re the people You place in our lives.

This season was never just about volleyball. It was about God’s faithfulness, His perfect timing, and the beautiful way He turned eleven teammates into lifelong sisters. All glory to Him. by @averyburdette__

I’m so excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my volleyball career at Asbury University!

First, I want to thank God for guiding me through every step of this journey. Through every high and low, He has given me strength, clarity, and peace, making this decision feel right. I’m incredibly grateful for my relationship with Him and hope to honor Him through this opportunity.

Most importantly, thank you to my family for your endless love, support, and guidance. You’ve been my foundation through everything, and I truly wouldn’t be here without you. Thank you for every sacrifice, every ride, and always believing in me.

Also, a HUGE thank you to my @tennesseeperformance family, my teammates, and all of my coaches @isaac.farrey and @m.stone.house and @joelblocksom who have pushed me, supported me, and challenged me to grow. You’ve all played such a big role in shaping me into the player and person I am today, and I’m so grateful for every moment along the way. And most importantly thank you @relentlesspursuitrecruiting for guiding me through this process.

And thank you so much @asburyvolleyball for this incredible opportunity. I’m beyond grateful for the belief you’ve shown in me and for the chance to be part of such a special program. I can’t wait to grow, compete, and give everything I have for this team.

GO EAGLES🦅💜
