Our first group show!!! Celebrated the opening with a gorgeous performance by @ballet.florida. On view through January 24th. Happy to be surrounded by this energy for the next month!

Symposium’, a group exhibition at Kristin Hjellegjerde Gallery, West Palm Beach, is now open through January 24th. In this show, contemporary artists reimagine the symposium through the lens of their own cultures and identities. What does the modern dinner party represent today? Can it still offer a platform for serious discussion, philosophical thought, and radical exchange as well as indulgence, pleasure and transgression?

RIP HUDSON. The best dog ever.
.
We fell in love with this big guy the minute he came into our house as a foster.
.
(FOSTER FAIL)
.
He was THE BIGGEST personality, a total goofball, the best guard dog and the gentlest of souls. He made us laugh every day. He LOVED something about every day. He had a ton to say.
.
He said “DOFF” a lot. And “MY BAD”.
.
This guy. He went to more states than many humans! California to North Carolina to Massachusetts and loads in between. His favorites (after Los Angeles of course) - Hiking in Ashville, the deserts of Joshua Tree, making it to the top of a vortex in Sonoma, Downtown Philidelphia (he LOVED Philly), beaches in New England. He went nuts for any waterfall and yes - did go chasing them.
.
Dislikes included cold (under 65 degrees), thunder, fireworks, suspicious men with hats.
.
He could chew through drywall and antlers and could also gently take the smallest of treats from your hand (sometimes). He swallowed many socks, parts of his beds and an entire leather work glove.
.
He was the best of friends to our dogs and welcomed all the fosters that came through... helping them find their forever homes as he found his.
.
He was an advocate for shelter dogs.
.
He changed people’s minds about what a big guy that looks like him can be. MUSH
.
Thank you to @therealbark for believing in him.
They pulled him from the shelter in West LA just in time and we are forever grateful he ended up with us.
.
There can never be another Hudson. We loved him every day. We will love him every day.
.
.
.
Please consider donating to @therealbark or your favorite local rescue so another dog or cat can be saved. Fostering saves lives. We kept Hudson, but many others passed through along the way to find their perfect forever homes. by @kristinhjellegjerde

Tales from South Florida. Wednesday Morning View. No Filter . It’s a Grackle!
.
.
Learned that Grackles let ants crawl all over them. It’s called ANTING. It’s believed that the Formic acid that the ants secrete helps to rid the bird of parasites .
