and just like that… 7 years, countless memories, and a piece of my heart all wrapped in to one last post. the highlight of the past 7 years of my life has come to an end. cheer has truly changed my life for the better. this sport has given me so much more than skills and medals, it gave me friendships that turned into family, and a place that always felt like home. cheer holds my happiest memories, hardest challenges, and everything in between. to stealth, thank you for making my last season so special. thank you for every practice, every competition, every laugh, every hug, every moment that made this journey so memorable. there is nothing like the bond our team created this season and i am so incredibly grateful for each and every one of you. so proud to say that i ended my cheer career with a big fat zero and my favorite people by my side. to my coaches, thank you for supporting me through every step of this journey. I am so grateful to have grown up in a gym surrounded by such incredible mentors and role models to look up to. thank you for believing in me, pushing me to be better, and shaping me into the person i am today. your support truly means the world to me. the lessons you taught me go far beyond cheer, and i will carry them with me forever. i don’t think there will ever be words big enough to explain what this sport has meant to me or how hard it is to say goodbye. but if i could go back and do it all over again, i would do it in a heartbeat. thank you cheer for giving me a home, a family, and memories i will carry forever 💙 - ayanna officially signing off by @ayanna.basu
