POSTS STORIES REELS

Had the honor to participate in @apollinairetheatre festival fashion show & auction. Each designer took home and used a costume from the theater to create their looks. Completely remaking them into something new.

I got to use this knit dress from the play Sonic Life

Massart x Eileen Fisher collaboration

We worked with clothes that were not re-sellable from their Renew program. Meaning there are tears or stains which cannot be fixed.

The process was to use 1 to 3 or 4 pieces, as long as you could completely use them, to make new clothes that still fit the aesthetic of the company. I over-dyed the shirts with madder before deconstruction. by @aybooms__art

Zero-Waste muslin skirt:

Designed to use a muslin rectangle and have no fabric scraps. Naturally dyed with avocado skins and pits, and turmeric, with shibori methods. by @aybooms__art
