POSTS STORIES REELS

Meet @ayhero333.
Afro-rock artist. Lagos-born. Stage-setter. Fire-in-his-chest performer.

But before the lights and the noise, his story started at 16, grabbing any mic he could find in random open mics in VI and even church programs. Those Lagos nights shaped the sound he carries today.

What most people don’t see is the part he calls “creative isolation.”

The nights alone in small studios. Collaborators backing out. Burnout that hits so hard the music starts to feel like a burden. But he learned to turn that loneliness into fuel.

Rocket Boy is clear on one thing.
“Structure is the only way I survive the chaos in my head.”

And that’s why he joined AFROTAPE.
To find collaborators who get the vision.
To manage bookings without stress.
To build a creative life that feels steady.

This is why we spotlight creators like him, the ones who fight for their sound every day.
