📍 @confidant.bk - Industry City, Brooklyn

Confidant (@confidant.bk) is a bold new restaurant in Industry City, founded by best friends and chefs Brendan Kelley (@b__kelleyyy) and Daniel Grossman (@dan__grossman). After meeting at Roberta’s, where they both rose to leadership roles, the duo has combined their extensive experience from top NYC kitchens like Per Se, Gage & Tollner, and Aska, as well as international stints in Copenhagen. 🌍🍽️

At only 29 and 30 years old, Brendan and Daniel bring their passion for inventive cuisine to a seasonally rotating menu focusing on dry-aged fish and meats 🐟🥩, blending bold flavors with familiar dishes. They source locally from purveyors like Fort Hamilton Distillery 🍸 and Ends Meat 🥓, right in Industry City. If you're craving innovative dining with a local touch, Confidant is the spot. ✨

It’s hard to believe we just wrapped up our soft opening weekend of @confidant.bk

Our grand opening is this Wednesday, March 19th, and we couldn’t be more excited!

I’m beyond grateful to have my brotha @dan__grossman by my side on this wild ride. This restaurant is truly a reflection of both of us, and we’ve poured our hearts and souls into every detail over the last two years.

Our Executive Pastry Chef, @mariah_neston has infused a piece of herself into the menu, from the bread and butter to the decadent desserts.

A massive shoutout to my guy @codycpruitt for crafting an insane wine and cocktail menu, and for bringing a Telluride-inspired twist to the espresso martini with “The Flatliner.”

And last but certainly not least, huge thanks to @hjgold1014 @martimusq @eg421 for riding this rollercoaster with us. It’s going to be one hell of a ride! by @b__kelleyyy

I had the pleasure to cook for the @ahhaaschooltelluride New Years Eve Launchpad Dinner last weekend. It’s always a great experience when I get to come home and do what I love.
Big thanks to Ah Haa for bringing me out for this amazing event and giving me the opportunity to be back home in Telluride with my friends and family for the holidays.
Shoutout to @keenz21 for creating the beautiful menus!

BIG THINGS TO COME IN 2024 @confidant.bk by @b__kelleyyy

SOLD OUT! 🍾 Join Guest Chef Brendan Kelley on New Year's Eve for an unmatched culinary experience in Telluride!
We'll kick off NYE with a celebratory Sky Deck viewing of Telluride’s Annual Torchlight Parade. We've got the perfect rooftop view along with special drinks and delicious canapes. Following the glowing spectacle, Chef Kelley will present a stunning full-course dinner highlighting favorites of the Southwest, complete with curated, paired wines. This is a very special opportunity to support Ah Haa School for the Arts while experiencing a Telluride-born chef’s brilliant cuisine. Link to purchase NYE Launchpad Dinner seats in our bio.

Meet our guest chef!
Rising star Chef Brendan Kelley returns to his Telluride roots from Copenhagen’s Amass (“The most influential restaurant of the last decade," according to Noma), and two Michelin-starred Kadeau, NYC’s authentic French Bistro Libertine, and the infamous pizza mecca that kickstarted a movement, Roberta's NYC. Come spring 2024, Kelley's own highly anticipated restaurant, Confidant, will open in Brooklyn, serving seasonal, wood-fired New American food. #ahhaaschool #culinaryarts #nycfoodscene #telluride #coloradocreative by @b__kelleyyy
