Alongside inputs by invited artists we will learn to record sounds with a range of microphones and get in conversation about ways of listening to the landscape. Following the idea of the Amphibian we will learn about listening as a multisensorial, whole-body technology.

Vietnam Art Collection (VAC) extends our warmest gratitude to everyone who joined us throughout the month-long Open Studio of Nguyễn Vân-Nhi @vnnhi and Nguyễn Duy Anh @vudieunongsay, "𝓬𝓱𝓾𝓷𝓰 𝓽𝓱𝓪̂𝓷: 𝓐𝓷𝓭 𝓽𝔀𝓸 𝓵𝓲𝓿𝓮𝓼 𝓫𝓮𝓬𝓸𝓶𝓮 𝓪𝓼 𝓸𝓷𝓮 . ."

Over the course of a month, this residency project materializes with every encounter: between the artists and their work, and between the art and everyone who showed interest. From the opening reception to the intimate artist talk and special screenings, Vân-Nhi and Duy Anh carved out a space that houses the questions of family, memory, allowing them to be pondered and felt.

VAC would like to extend our sincere thanks to @ph00000ng, @kieu____anh, and @tienglongtoi.xonxao for joining us through their musical contributions, helping create memorable listening and viewing experiences throughout the Open Studio programme. Thank you to everyone who took the time to stay with the works, and to share in the moments that helped shape this Open Studio.

While “𝓬𝓱𝓾𝓷𝓰 𝓽𝓱𝓪̂𝓷: 𝓐𝓷𝓭 𝓽𝔀𝓸 𝓵𝓲𝓿𝓮𝓼 𝓫𝓮𝓬𝓸𝓶𝓮 𝓪𝓼 𝓸𝓷𝓮 . ." has now come to a close, we hope that the memories and questions it opened up will continue to linger, and find new ways to unfold. by @ba.bau.air

If an art space can be carried elsewhere, what exactly is being carried?

In this episode, Vietnamese artist collective ba-bau AIR joins us to share how the image of a pregnant woman inspires their vision of a space full of energy and possibility. They bring this vision to life in an old French-style house in Hanoi, where living, creating, and caring for the space together blur the lines between artist and audience, host and guest—and between the physical and the intangible.

This season expands on the theme of MoCA TAIPEI’s 2026 exhibition 𝘞𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘭: 𝘖𝘶𝘳 𝘊𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘌𝘹𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦, exploring how contemporary artists approach collectivity as a form of knowledge production, a strategy for survival, and an aesthetic practice. The series features conversations with artist collectives, artist-run spaces, and self-organized initiatives from Taiwan and neighboring Asian countries.
