Hi, I’m Mindy, the flower farmer behind Back River Blooms. I’m a true introvert, so consider this my introduction. 😂 Back River Blooms is small, homegrown & very much a work in progress. I’m learning as I go & putting a lot of heart into every seedling, arrangement & flower cart day. Whether you’ve bought flowers, shared a post, returned a jar or simply followed along, thank you. You’re helping this little dream of mine feel real & I’m so glad you’re here. 🫶 #backriverblooms #localflowers #merrimacma by @backriverblooms
There are a lot of roles behind Back River Blooms… and they all happen to be me. Seed starter Transplanter Harvester Designer Bouquet wrapper Social media manager Professional weather watcher Occasionally, I recruit my nephew for weeding or bed building, & my husband helps with the heavy lifting; but for the most part this little flower farm is a one-woman operation. Every bouquet is grown, cut, arranged, wrapped & shared with this community by these same two hands: from first seed to finished flowers. I may not be quite this youthful anymore, but I’m still very much an earth-loving girl who feels most at home with dirt under my nails & flowers in my arms. And on occasion… still kinda cute. 😉 Thanks for being here and supporting something small, local & deeply personal. 🌱🫶 #backriverblooms #localflowers #grownnotflown #growninmassachusetts by @backriverblooms
