Full-time traveling in an Airstream exploring the backroads of North America, yarn shops and beyond…

POSTS STORIES REELS

Wow finally getting around to posting my phenomenal trip to @awoolenaffair and @nysheepwool with dear yarny 🧶friends, @debbagley01 @howard.jenny @mariaallen723 I needed a week to recover as I’ve been traveling in our camper for 5 years and not been around this many people, I had to take timeouts🤪 - thanks for understanding, friends 😘 This event was a dream for me to meet designers whom I’ve tested for @gudrunjohnston @aliciaplums and Instagram friends @coloradoknitter to hug on 🥰. Looking forward to knitting on my haul this coming year and hoping to return again soon.

$An impromptu plan to recharge before school resumed, turned into a fractional family reunion! Not ready for the school year, but definitely feeling full up ♥️ by @backroadsknitter$

Vaddel release day by @gudrunjohnston! What a fun knit - the hues of the Southwest was my inspiration and I used the recommended yarn, @jamiesonsofshetland Spindrift - colorways Burnt Umber, Scotch Broom, Verdigris and Hairst. Split spliced my way through the sweater so there wasn’t any weaving in of ends. Made a size bigger for an oversized look. There’s a 20% discount through Sunday and you can get the pullover as well as the cardigan. You will love the pattern! 😎 by @backroadsknitter

Happy Spring, everyone - back in Daffodil country enjoying my new socks that I test knit. Introducing the Hello Flower Socks by @grey_owl_knits. Don’t you just love the Badger Face?

Since the beginning of the year I’ve been knitting up my stash and test knitting is my way of having a deadline to get the projects done. These are the Cluaran Socks by @grey_owl_knits which I just finished test knitting. They are a fast and fun knit and remind us that Spring is eventually coming!

A new mitten pattern out today - #Home Again Mittens by @grey_owl_knits.
Loved knitting these and playing with inverting the colors. If you are a Lord of the Rings fan, you can see the little shire in the design.
Take a look at all the great projects on Ravelry!

And they are DONE ✅ Socks in 4 days is quite the challenge and I enjoyed every minute. What a fun pattern! I was team toe up but I have enough to make another pair so may do cuff down. Thanks to @dreareneeknits for a great #ooeygooeykalchallenge #ooeygooeysockkalchallenge by @backroadsknitter
