A little look at what’s happening at Bagheera Kids this week! 🌿

We have a lovely week lined up with music, movement, art and plenty of opportunities to read, play and get creative. And on Saturday, we’ll be celebrating Diwali at the Reading Room with some festive fun! ✨

Come spend some time with us! 💛

If you’re new here — welcome 🌿

Bagheera Kids is a space we’ve created for children (and parents) to slow down.
To browse books, make things, sit on the floor, talk, read or do nothing much at all.

Some days are busy, some are quiet.
Both are welcome.

If you’ve been meaning to visit, come in when it feels right 🤍 by @bagheerakids

A little bit of time here can go a long way.

Books, play, and space to just be.

This Thursday, we’re getting creative with delicate leaf skeletons, adding colour, patterns and little details to turn them into a beautiful festive door hanging.

A lovely way to bring a little handmade charm into your Diwali celebrations. 🪔

Come make something special with us! ✨ Please DM to block your seat.

Play is how they learn. But what are they learning? 💛

Capoeira for little ones turns movement and play into an opportunity to build strength, balance, coordination, flexibility and body awareness — alongside rhythm, listening, confidence and connection with others.

Children learn through trying: balancing, rolling, kicking, stretching, following rhythms and figuring out how their bodies can move. There’s plenty of fun, but there’s also a lot happening underneath it.

Ages 3–5 years
Tuesdays & Fridays · 4:00–4:45 PM

What happens when movement becomes play?

If you’re new to Capoeira, it’s a wonderful mix of martial arts, music, rhythm and play. Children balance, roll, kick, dodge, follow rhythms and move with others, building strength and coordination along the way.

They also learn to listen, take turns, try again, discover what their bodies can do and become comfortable moving in their own way.
