It’s hard to put into words and describe what it meant to me seeing this bloke play music live. Since I was little my dad always played his music and I would listen to it and enjoy it every time one of his songs came on. As I got a bit older I realised what the intentions behind all his songs are and i grew a new appreciation for the tracks as I now realised what they meant and how they connected me and my old man. I realise that when dad was showing me the music when I was younger he wasn’t trying to get me to listen to a good song he was trying to teach me how I should view the world and the mad country we live in, a gift that isn’t something everyone gets to have, gratitude. I started playing guitar because my dad gave me the love for it also and his love came from this music. Listening to Xavier Rudd play his music live was so sick in so many ways, I hope everyone has something like this in their life that is so insanely special and beautiful to them and that connects them to the people they love. Shout out to @phoenixmadour who came with me and was able to appreciate it from a different but equally as special perspective. I can’t explain what it meant to me seeing Xavier Rudd sing with his son on stage knowing what his music already means to me and my dad. So fkn amazing. Thankyou @xavierruddofficial by @bai1eyd0wling
