✨Living for the abundance He made us for
Jesus at the center of a wholesome home + nourished living

POSTS STORIES REELS

So you want your babies connected at home (especially while little) but also have other meaningful work to do or an income your family relies on, all while not drowning in life’s responsibilities, and a peaceful home? GOOD, join the club!!!

Transparently here’s how we make it work & it’s changed the game. But first let me be very clear- everything comes with sacrifice and each families will look different based on their set of circumstances.

We added a mother helper into the rhythm.
A kind of hybrid between babysitter, home keeper, and nanny, but really her own thing. Literally only best described by the actual title🤪 We currently have three children 6, 4, and 1. Our big girls literally started school today and our little guy is home full time. I work from home most days so our helper comes to our house a few hours a day, a few days of the week.

The way my brain works best + most efficient is with uninterrupted work time (trust me I’ve tried) so being able to check in and out of “sprints” while knowing my little guy is being loved on, the home is being tended to/staying in rhythm, and if need be I can step out at any moment is a sweet spot for how I make it work right now.

Here’s a peak into what it looked like yesterday:

- Came home after drop off for our oldest & tidied a bit, got laundry going and played/hung out with my two youngest for about an hour
- Mother helper arrived and we all caught up (she was gone all summer) and did some laundry together
- I fed the kids lunch, got our 1 year old down for a nap while she finished some clean out projects we didn’t get to complete this weekend
- My daughter and I left to spend an hour or so at Chuck E. Cheese for 1-on-1 time for her last day of summer
- While I was gone our helper was able to unload the dishwasher from the night before and reload it with breakfast + lunch and swap over/put away the laundry I started that morning
- When I got back she had given my little guy a snack after his nap and I was able to get started on dinner before she left and we left to do pickup for my oldest

Would you believe me if I told you I went to check my nesting boxes in full hair/makeup? 🤪 by @baileydomangue

Last summer, I had a sleepy baby yawning beside me… this summer, I have a wild little boy jumping and laughing all over me.

I used to train for championships and now I’m training for the privilege of keeping up with the life I’ve prayed for💪🏽💛 by @baileydomangue

Rich🤎 Thank you, Jesus. by @baileydomangue

The bravery is unimaginable and the gratefulness will never be enough for those whose lives allow us to live ours free🇺🇸

As a family we joined neighbors of all kinds and helped place flags at 15,000+ tombstones of service men and women at the start of this Memorial Day weekend. We said names out loud and prayed for their souls while placing a small token of honor and thanks at the front of their tombs.

It’s crazy to think we live so close to so many places of historical significance— south Louisiana is truly so special in how culturally + historically rich it is! This cemetery is where the Battle of New Orleans took place and holds service members from the War of 1812 through Vietnam. It was a special morning for our family to do this together. Enjoying the freedoms their lives protected for us with full hearts, thank you to all military families who have given everything for us all to do that! God Bless America!! by @baileydomangue

Happy Easter 🤍✨ because it doesn’t end on Sunday, it just begins ❤️‍🔥

This Lent and Holy Week were, in the best way I can say, set apart. Walking through Rise40 with 80+ women brought so much clarity, and the Lord invited me deeper in ways I didn’t expect. Going into Holy Week, Brady had just gone on a weekend long ACTS retreat so our family was already in such a beautiful place and then everything just felt magnified.

Holy Thursday we had the honor of having our feet washed as a family and watching the altar be stripped and Jesus in the Eucharist taken away truly pierced my heart. It felt like walking into the home of a loved one after losing them- familiar, but deeply aching.

Good Friday was somber and sacred, had the honor of venerating a splinter of the cross and sitting in that deep longing with an open + empty tabernacle even more. Then the Easter Vigil… WHEW… just shy of 3 hours of awe + beauty where I stood beside my sister-in-law as her godmother/sponsor while she received the sacraments of baptism, confirmation, and her first Holy Communion 🥹 Our little guy even stayed up for all the fun! And then Easter morning, full of joy, celebration, and the reminder that this is just the beginning ✨

This Holy Week and Easter Sunday, God reminded me so deeply (and through lots of tears) that in just showing up with a willing heart, He can multiply beyond what we know.

Cheers to bunny/resurrection rolls, our very own basket of Easter eggs from the hen house, and the words Mary Magdalene was greeted with on the very first Easter morning— He’s waiting for you! ALLELUIA🤍 by @baileydomangue
