I love these counters so much! They weren’t even close to what I originally picked but I let the stone pick itself. It’s a kind of mixed stone. Similar to dolomite or marble. Honed/leather finish.

Decided to paint the back family room Urbane bronze to create some separation. I’m obsessed. It has so many windows, u knew it could take the dark color. I think it will look incredible next to the stone we picked for kitchen counters too.

With the big tree gone, it tore up a lot of yard and we cleared some overgrown areas too. Now I’m ready to start making it beautiful! The roof is getting done this week and as soon as they are finished I can get to planting new plants! I at least hung a few pots of flowers on the porch to hold me over.

The reign of terror this tree has created comes to an end first thing tomorrow morning. Can’t wait to no longer worry about power outages, broken windows and holes in the roof.

Bringing visions to life. Keeping a mid century home looking mid century while also updating it to fit today’s needs.

Ai tried to help me visualize this kitchen but kinda messed up the layout. Still helps. by @bakerpropertiesorlando

Taking down a wall in this mid century house and doubling the size of the kitchen. Check out the progress. Can’t wait to show you the final renovation!

The kitchen is starting to come together. Through moving, injury and illness, this project has taken its sweet time. But I still love the journey.

Flooring progress and ceiling fans hung. Can’t wait to refinish wood and stain walnut. by @bakerpropertiesorlando

This hex tile will be epic when it’s done. By end of next weekend hoping to reveal the finished project! 🤍 #midcenturyranch #hextile #tiletransition by @bakerpropertiesorlando

Today I did my first tile job. I have studied Joe on the last few projects and even tried my hand at it years ago with a small tile patch job, but never anything this big. I’m pretty dang proud of myself getting over half the bathroom done today. Mosaic tile is a little tricky, but I feel accomplished! What’s a skill you’d like to learn?

@jbaker513 is doing an amazing job on tiling this kitchen… it looks like it’ll go fast, but then I remembered we doubled the size of the original kitchen AND are doing a cool design to transition into the wood. What style tile is your favorite these days?
