POSTS STORIES REELS

🏆Two Years in a Row… and this year, GOLD! 💛

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for voting BAKK Ridge Farm as Best of the 352 for the second year in a row. To receive the Gold award this year is truly an honor, and we are so incredibly grateful.

What started as a dream has become something so much bigger because of each and every one of you. To our amazing clients, devoted parents, our wonderful farm kiddos, and to my parents and family who have stood beside me and supported this dream from the beginning—thank you. Your trust, encouragement, and belief in BAKK Ridge Farm mean more than words can express.

Our horses and our little corner of the world have been blessed with a community that feels like family. Every lesson, every camp, every laugh, and every memory made at the farm is because of the people who have chosen to be part of this journey with us.

This award belongs to all of you. Thank you for allowing us to share our love of horses and the simple joys of farm life with so many incredible families.

Here's to another year in the winner’s circle, making memories, growing together, and doing what we love most. 🐴

With grateful hearts,
The BAKK Ridge Farm Family

For anyone who has not followed my journey here in Williston, I began my journey as a riding instructor at my home, later named BAKK Ridge Farm.

For those who have followed me, I am so thankful for those who have pushed me, guided me, and held my hand when I was unsure.

WE have won BEST OF THE 352 🏅
🐴 Boarding Facility
🐴 Horse Trainer

Thank you to ALL but very specifically:
My mom and dad Gary and Evie you gave me the tools needed to allow me to start this. From contracts, business plans and logistics and the heart. Without you both my dreams wouldnt have come to life and dad, my dream barn wouldnt be coming without you.

Kelly, you pushed me to leave my bartending life behind and leave it all to God. In which he never failed me. Though my faith was rocky, you prayed with me and for me. I am forever thankful.

Shane though your wife was my calm you were the cool. You helped me in all ways to fix what I couldn't or didn't know. You taught me to always have a drill, and how to use it. You bent backwards always to help building a lean-to in 20 degrees in the pouring rain. When my water pipe was leaking and it was "no big deal" you were there in a mere 20 minutes. You have helped me literally build it up.

Adam you came late in the game but you have only pushed me to get prijects done, you have come back to the house with a new tool, light, and even lumber. To the kiddos who like to knock it down, you're aways there to fix it.

To all of my family, friends, and clients. And Clients turned family, I could never thank you all enough for your patronage. Without you, there would be no BAKK Ridge Farm.

🐴 Cheers to a full year as BAKK Ridge Farm. by @bakkridgefarm

Losing weight has been about so much more than watching a number on a scale change.

Managing a disease while trying to become the healthiest version of myself has taught me that some of the hardest battles are the ones no one else can see. There are days my body doesn’t cooperate. Days my mind is exhausted before the day even begins. Days when doing the right things feels so much harder than it should.

And then there’s the mental battle, the constant pressure to be better, stronger, healthier, more disciplined… while also learning to give myself grace when I can't seem to do it all.

Im learning being my best isn't about being perfect.

Some days my best is a hard workout and making every healthy choice I planned to make. Other days, my best is getting out of bed, taking care of my body, my home, and my horses.

The weight I’ve lost is more than just pounds. It represents choices. Discipline, starting over, learning my body, and being an advocate for my health. It's about getting back up after hard days. And still choosing a future version of myself even when the present version of me is simply exhausted.

I can't say I've gone it all on my own, I've gotten help along the way, my boyfriend has pushed me, in the gym, nutritionally guided me, and encouraged me along the way.

But I’m proud of the woman who keeps showing up.

My goal isn’t to become the smallest version of myself.

It’s to become the strongest, healthiest, happiest and most present version of myself for my life, for the people I love, and most importantly, for my future.

Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The LORD, the LORD himself, is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation.
