Couples who lift together… compete together 😏

Marriage is basically just finding increasingly creative ways to challenge each other 😂

I am very humbled and grateful to have received the clinical nutrition excellence award from @csnnaa recently.

One of my core values has always been to educate and support women—whether it’s sharing a product that’s helped me thrive, or building programs that meet women exactly where they are in their lives and health journeys. 🙌

Funny story: years ago—long before I ever thought of becoming a holistic nutritionist—I had a psychic reading with a group of girlfriends. The woman told me I’d end up in a field that supports women in their health. I remember thinking… “Yeah, right.” 😂

But here we are. Isn’t it wild how life works out?

A massive thank you to my #1 hype man, James—who:

💚 helped me grow kombucha with me in our kitchen (ever tried it? it’s weird lol)

💚 helped me peddle essential oils as a biz phase

💚 Reminded me yesterday that becoming a nutritionist was a decision made over coffee because I couldn’t ignore the pull to something bigger.

And to my virtual bestie & cheerleader Bonnie @shiftnutritionandwellness — thank you for always being in my corner.

Here’s to staying curious, following your gut (literally & figuratively 😉), and building a life rooted in passion and purpose. 💫

Want to get more fibre into your diet without overcomplicating things? Start with your soup. 🙌

Portion into jars for easy work lunches or freeze for busy days when you need something quick.

Simple, practical nutrition for real life — because small upgrades add up!.

If fat loss is your goal, this is the kind of meal I want you eating: high-protein, high-fibre, satisfying and BIG enough to actually fill you up. 👏

No tiny portions. No sad salads. Just smart, simple food.

If someone had told in my 30’s that strength training was the fountain of youth, I would have laughed my signature *big laugh*.

While Strength training can temporarily increase growth hormone and other anabolic signals — the real anti-aging win is maintaining muscle, bone and physical function as you get older.

This time next year, I’ll be turning 5-0. And while I’ve never felt better, I’m even more motivated to become an even stronger (and hotter) version of myself.

When your husband trusts you a little too much. 😂

Just out here testing whether his third eye is magnetic.

Marriage: where “trust me” can lead to absolutely anything.

Fibre is one of those unsexy nutrition basics that becomes especially worth paying attention to in perimenopause.

It supports gut health, regularity, blood sugar management, cholesterol levels and satiety — and most of us could use more of it.

Think: berries, vegetables, beans, lentils, whole grains, chia, flax and psyllium.

Aim for roughly 25–30+ g a day and increase gradually alongside plenty of fluids.

Your future self may thank you. Plus, your 💩 like a queen 😉

Let’s not over complicate this sh*t shall we?!?!

Save this for the days when your protein goal is looking a little… ambitious. 👀

I was listening to a podcast recently talking about why women in the 40’s and beyond need to stop thinking they need to be smaller. But rather thinking about something strength to carry them through the next phase of life.

Then, almost immediately, I overheard a woman talking about how frustrated she was because the scale wasn’t moving—if anything, it was going up.

And honestly? I get it.

I still catch myself getting wrapped up in the number sometimes.

But what I’ve learned is that when I follow a solid plan, fuel my body properly and consistently strength train, I get stronger. I sleep better. My energy is higher. And, truthfully, I really like the shape of my stronger body.

Maybe the goal isn’t to keep chasing a smaller version of ourselves.

Maybe it’s to build a body that can carry us through the next 40 years feeling strong, energized and confident.

And yes, we can still want to look our best. We just don’t have to make smaller the definition of better.

Who’s coming to this side with me?
