The world's only automatic boat loader!

Name something better than being the first one off the ramp on a Saturday morning. 🙋 We’ll wait. by @balexmarineltd
The ramp loading and offloading can be just as dangerous as being out on the water You’re on foot, on a wet slope, beside something heavy that’s trying to move. Backs, shoulders, fingers, cold water to the waist. That’s the honest list of what goes wrong, and it happens to experienced boaties just as much as beginners. It’s a control problem, not a skill problem. And there’s a better way to solve it. by @balexmarineltd
Less time at the ramp. More time on the water. That’s what it’s all about. 🙌 by @balexmarineltd
Every Balex trailer is designed and welded to order from marine grade 5083 aluminium, built around your hull, not adapted from a stock frame. We start with your boat, your weight distribution, and how you use it, and build from there. That’s what the custom build process is for. Get in touch by @balexmarineltd
We’ve built a whole bunch of custom trailers with many hitting the water again this spring. Every single one designed and built around the boat it’s going on, no two the same. If you’re in the market for a new trailer or you’ve just picked up a new boat and need the perfect setup to match, get in touch with our team. We’ll walk you through the options and put together a no obligation quote. by @balexmarineltd
If your boat lives in the water between trips, you’re paying for it regularly, and it’s not cheap. A Balex floating dock keeps your hull out of the water when you’re not using it, dramatically reduces maintenance. by @balexmarineltd
Power loading works, until you understand what it’s doing to the surroundings of the boat ramp. When you drive a boat onto a trailer under power, the prop wash scours out the bed at the bottom of the ramp and creates a some what sand bar behind the launching and retrieving area. Over time it undermines the ramp slab, which is why more and more councils are putting up no power loading signs. The Balex system pulls the boat on from the rear of the trailer right to the winch post. No prop wash, no hole dug behind you, no damage to the ramp. Worth thinking about next time you’re at the ramp. by @balexmarineltd
If you’ve just invested in a new boat or you’re in the market for a new trailer, we build fully custom trailers designed and welded to order right here in Whitianga. Every build starts with your boat. Your hull, your weight distribution, how you use it. Whether you’re running a 4m personal watercraft or a 9.5m cabin cruiser, there’s a Balex trailer built for it. Pre-summer checklist: Is your boat serviced? Trailer checked? Good spots lined? System that makes the ramp the easiest part of the day? How’s your prep looking? Missing a few things? Then get in touch, and we might be able to help you sort your loose ends. by @balexmarineltd
If you’re ever up in the Coromandel, come and find us in Whitianga. We’re always happy to talk through what we build. There’s nothing quite like seeing the system in action to understand what it actually does. Give us a call on 0800 225 3962 to arrange a visit. by @balexmarineltd
Not every boat needs the same setup, which is why we designed the Balex system in three different models. ✓ Sport is recommended for boats up to 6m. ✓ Pro covers boats from 6 to 8m and is our most popular model, offering everything you need for a smooth launch and retrieve. ✓ Ultra is built for larger vessels, handling boats up to 9.5m and 3.5 tonne. Not sure which Balex system is right for your boat? Get in touch with our team and we’ll help point you in the right direction. by @balexmarineltd
The ramp is one of the few places in boating where you’re standing on foot, on a wet slope, right beside something heavy that’s trying to move. It’s not a comfortable place to be, and it doesn’t get more comfortable the bigger your boat gets. Backs, shoulders, fingers, cold water to the waist. That’s the honest list of what can go wrong at ramps, and none of it is a skill failure. It’s simply what happens when conditions get away from you and you run out of time and hands. The Balex system changes where you stand. Dry ground. Remote in hand. Completely out of the load path. It’s a small shift that makes the riskiest few minutes of your day a lot more controlled. by @balexmarineltd
